POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some of the most meaningful work at Idle Hands happens in moments like this. 🖤

Everyone gathered together, making time to listen, learn, and help shape the shop we’re building.

Our bi-weekly shop meetings and one-on-one mentorship are part of that commitment. They create space to ask questions, work through challenges, celebrate progress, and have honest conversations about how we can keep getting better—for ourselves, for each other, and for you.

Every person on this team brings something different: their creativity, their experience, their perspective, and their heart. We want each of them to feel supported, heard, and encouraged to grow. That takes time and intention, and we believe it’s worth making room for.

To us, what makes Idle Hands special is the care behind the work. It’s sharing knowledge, showing up for each other, and understanding that every person here has something to teach and something to learn.

We’re proud of the art that comes out of this shop. We’re just as proud of the people creating it and the team supporting it.

Thank you for trusting us and being part of what we’re building. 🖤

A little Dolly, a lot of heart, and $2,000 for the Imagination Library. 🦋📚

More than 45 people helped us turn our Dolly Parton fundraiser into something we’re so proud to share. We had the joy of presenting a $2,000 check to Kay Hurst with the Imagination Library, supporting books for children right here in our community.

We love Dolly for her creativity, her individuality, and the way she uses what she has to give others a little more possibility. Bringing that spirit into our shop—and seeing you show up for it—meant so much to us.

To everyone who got tattooed or pierced, purchased jewelry, donated, shared our event, or encouraged someone to come: thank you. And to our artists, piercer, and staff who put their time and hearts into making it happen, we’re grateful for you.

Behind this check are new bedtime stories, favorite books read over and over, and little imaginations discovering how big their world can be. Thank you for helping us be part of that. 💜

Pictured left to right: Pat Ronning, piercer; Lacy Zee, tattoo artist; Tanner Lloyd, tattoo artist; and Kay Hurst, Imagination Library—with a little cardboard Dolly magic in the middle.
