A flashback to last Saturday at Ascot Racecourse.

They call it Champions Day for a reason.

Blue skies, world-class racing and an afternoon at Ascot that was rather more successful in the hospitality stakes than at the Tote.

Backing a horse called Gstaad simply because you fancy owning a chalet there? Perhaps not the soundest betting strategy.

Still, with vintage Moët & Chandon, Rock Angel rosé and some excellent food, there are worse ways to lose.

A rather glorious afternoon at @ascotracecourse.

About last night.

My best friend got stuck in Ibiza with all the grounded flights @jacjackjackie which was devastating!!!! But all my incredible London friends and my amazing in laws showed up in force to celebrate the book…. It was completely surreal feeling so much love and signing the book for everyone! I know I always say this but I still feel emotional that I have so many amazing people in my life here, as the girl from Sydney who showed up knowing next to no one !!

My girls were running around so proud to be up late. They are my inspiration so I hope all of this makes them proud one day. The outfit I planned was a little sheer so I threw on my wedding after party look very last minute 🤣 very bridal.

Most importantly my friend Isaac of @oh.sante and @silverhill_w2 made CEO AFTER HOURS cocktails, and ran the best bar and pizza night for us and I am so grateful and indebted. You are one of my greatest supporters and it doesn’t go unnoticed Isaac, thank you!!

Tonight I’ve been preparing for tomorrow’s community event and I cannot wait to see everyone, and hear what my panelist’s have to share. See you in the morning! 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼

The run up 🎄

Friends, drinks, vegan feasts by the vegetable queen, Wild Tavern’s prawn ceviche making it into the list of best things I’ve ever eaten and country life 💕 it’s all coming together.

Some other things I’ve been enjoying
Podcast: the telepathy tapes - If you’re into consciousness or the edges of what we think we know… this is fascinating. And if you’re a sceptic or a critic? It’s especially for you!!
Books: reading some old classics which was wonderful. Now currently reading The Heart’s Invisible Furies which I was hooked on from the first page.
Watched Harry Potter 1 - 7 in a week which was awesome but quite intense ✨

If life is feeling heavy, remember that the light has slowly started returning. We’ve made it through the shortest day of the year and our days are getting brighter 🌤️

We celebrated 7 years of @ruubyapp with the most exquisite lunch, a gong bath which I was sceptical of but turned out being my favourite part, a whole afternoon of spa treatments 🧖🏻‍♀️and of course lots of cake 🎂
Always in awe of you @venetia_ and your team. Huge congratulations 👏🏼

Wednesday night with @cartier at the annual racing awards 🏇🏼
Wonderful to see a few of my Magnolia Cup girls and catch up with some racing friends, it made me miss riding out @parkhousestables a lot!

Wearing my mamma’s vintage dress (luckily we’re the same size 🥰) and some stunning jewellery from @laurence_coste which matches my dress perfectly. Makeup by the fabulously talented @yasmin_salmon 💄

📣 Interrupting my Instagram hiatus with some wonderful news…
I’ve just been told that the 2021 Magnolia Cup raised a RECORD BREAKING 💥 £230,000.00 💥 for @smartworkscharity - supporting unemployed women, the most ever raised for the annual charity race run on Ladies’ Day at the Qatar Gloriois Goodwood festival.

I’m so incredibly proud to have been a part of this wonderful day - THANK YOU to everyone who has donated / supported me / helped me learn how to ride a bloody racehorse. What an insane few months it was!!

Thank you 🙏🏻 @parkhousestables @dayo94 @goodwood_races @markelinternational @kepitalia @bella_freud @vjtphoto
