A little ocean air tends to sort things out. 🌊

And somewhere comfortable to land when the sun starts going down. That somewhere? The Mara: our Laguna Beach stay made for slipping into the rhythm of the coast, where the day can stretch a little, and your room is waiting whenever you decide you’ve done enough for the day.

UPLIFT — where it all began for me. 🤍✨
I’ve been coming here since 2006, and somehow, after all these years, walking through these doors still feels like coming home.
Life takes us in different directions. We grow, we change, we move away, and we become different versions of ourselves — but there’s something so special about returning to the place that knew one of your earliest versions. The place where so many memories, friendships, and pieces of who you are today first began.
Carrie and the entire UPLIFT team, thank you for creating a space where I have always felt safe, seen, welcomed, and at home. To come back, step onto this floor again, and simply be present in gratitude for nearly two decades of memories is something I’ll never take for granted. 🥹🤍
Some places you visit. Others become part of your story. UPLIFT will always be part of mine.
Happy early 25th Anniversary this September! 🥂✨ Here’s to 25 years of creating a place so many of us have been lucky enough to call home. 🤍 @carriebaino @taticaban @jclinic_med @rjinthekitchen @weareupliftelkgrove

Sometimes this little business is about so much more than selling vintage. 🤍
I first met @taticaban during our family sushi nights, and over the years she’s become someone we’re always so happy to see. It meant so much that she came by midtown @blissmarketplace to pick up this mirror and support my little dream.

Thank you for shopping small, cheering me on, and reminding me that this community is what makes it all worth it. I hope this mirror brings so much joy to its new home. ✨

A photograph meant to creating a feeling and make you pause the scrolling and just wonder. Where is she? What is she thinking about? Be curious and let your imagination tell a story you can’t quite put into words.

This is why I love editorial portrait photography and I want you to feel something.

This portrait session is with the incredibly talented @taticaban for @castimages

Ever thought about doing a creative portrait photoshoot? I promise they are fun.

Email or dm me to book your branding, and editorial sessions throughout California.
