I love reading everyone’s resolutions/round-ups/reflections as the new year begins, much like I love the sweetness of how we all count down to midnight together— it’s one of my favourite things about being human. 2025 turned out to be one of the hardest years yet, in ways that I couldn’t have expected, and somehow it was all necessary. I’m overwhelmed by all of the love in my life, and the thankful for the resilience of the human spirit. As always, endlessly grateful for everyone who chooses to wear my work on their body, and bewildered at how lucky the hand is that I’ve been dealt. 2026 feels raw and tender and yet rich and hopeful. I am moving more intentionally, more slowly, and reshaping parts of who I am, both big and small. I wrote some winter thoughts on alizedubois.substack.com (link in bio), I’m trying to make time to look after my body and my mind, and I’m searching for ways to be more creative and child-like. I am a reflection of every person I love. I am a spec of dust in the infinite mycelium network. I am a vessel for silliness. For now, I am hibernating.
