Northern Neck Va Jeepers came through and blessed the shop for our opening weekend. Guess it’s all a party from here on out. Thanks to Kyle and the crew, for making the parking lot look a little more “Jeep’n” for the day…

Hey all, I promise we didn’t forget that we are supposed to be opening @tattoosbythebeach … One of us had a ear infection and the other tried to one up the other by rubbing his entire face in poison ivy (turns out Brian’s severely allergic)

But heres proof that we are moving forward, and we’ll be in and out through this weekend and hope to be getting truly back at it by next.

Reach out or stop through if you see us and check out the new diggs. And don’t worry, the swelling has subsided and Brian can see again…

Paperwork is done, decorating and getting things organized is in process… we expect to be taking appts at the beginning of next month…

A little update since we've had so many people asking - we got the keys to our new spot today! We don't have an opening date yet, but things are moving, and we thank everyone for their patience. We'll let you all know the moment we're able to start taking appointments again. Here's to a new adventure!

Oh and did I mention I’m attempting the Guinness World Record for most tattoos of a single cartoon character? Here’s a few of my 62 Garfield-related tattoos to distract you from the flaming dumpster of recent events! Apologies for not tagging every artist; the master list is at my apartment and I am not. I’m also awful at matching up names and profiles. I’ll try and get everyone tonight! (Edit: I can only tag 20 people per post, apologies @lester.tattoos and others!)

We’ve permanently closed the doors of Electric Cat Scratch Tattoos. After a series of tragic events, and the gun violence getting too personal, we made the tough decision to leave the city.

We’re extremely thankful to everyone that made the shop what it was, and we wish it didn’t end the way it did. But we’re looking forward to our new adventure - which, so far, feels like a permanent vacation! Come see us at the beach!
