⚡️Box Car Racer⚡️
“There Is” Live
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 2002

Missing someone doesn’t always mean
they’ve completely left your life.

Sometimes they’re still there
in the places you remember,
the things you wish you had said
and the thought that they haven’t forgotten you either.

“There Is” lived in that absence.

Wanting to believe that somewhere,
the person you couldn’t stop thinking about
was thinking about you too.

Because when someone means that much to you,
being apart doesn’t make the feeling go away.

It only leaves you wondering
if they’re carrying a piece of you
the same way you’re still carrying them.

Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear
Out now on Hulu and Disney+
🎥 Michael Dwyer and Justin Krook

Some memories only make sense
after you’ve lived long enough to look back at them.

Box Car Racer changed things between Tom, Mark and Travis,
and the friendship they had built their lives around
slowly became harder to hold onto.

When blink ended,
they carried that heartbreak,
with the same history following each of them.

Twenty one years later,
they can finally stand together again
and remember those days from the other side.

What once pulled them apart
became part of the story that eventually brought them home.

⚡️Box Car Racer⚡️ — “Elevator”
Never Forget — September 11th, 2001

“Elevator” was written in the shadow of 9/11.

A song about the final moments of someone’s life
and the terrifying realization
that there may be no way out.

Looking down at the streets below.
Thinking about everything you’re leaving behind.
And knowing the people you love
will never see you again.

It captured something almost impossible to imagine.
The fear of those final seconds
and the helplessness of everyone it left behind.

Today we remember the lives lost,
the families who had to move on without them,
and those who gave everything trying to save them.

September 11th, 2001.

Never forget.
Because some memories don’t disappear with time.
We carry them forever.

⚡️Box Car Racer⚡️ — “I Feel So”
2002
Directed by 🎥 Nathan “Karma” Cox

“I Feel So” felt like everything you wished you could change about yourself.

To have more time
before life started taking pieces of you with it.

Karma placed that feeling inside childhood.
Kids surrounded by a world they couldn’t control,
watching innocence disappear right in front of them.

The anger and sadness.
The confusion of growing older
and realizing that it never gave you the answers
you thought it would.

You spend your childhood wishing you could grow up.

Then one day,
you realize the person you miss the most
is that part of yourself you left behind
before life gave you a reason to change.
