10,950 days with you…120 days without you. Backstory: My dad always called me his fishing buddy. The day he dropped me off at college he softly said “I’ll miss you my little fishing buddy.” Flash forward to April 2020 when I bought him a lure keychain with that saying on it, which he hung from the mirror in his truck ever since. I knew I wanted a special tattoo that had a lot of meaning and that represented him. When my dad passed it was really difficult to get our 3 year old to understand where he went so abruptly. So, we decided to tell him that his Papa lives on the moon now, as heaven is a complicated concept for him. Every night he lays on his belly, looking out the window in his room and talks to the moon and his Papa. So, some really special things on this tattoo….. - 10,950 days that we got to spend together is written so beautifully in his hand writing (all of those numbers are also in his birthdate of 9/9/1950) - The exact fishing lure keychain that I bought him (side note: the keychain had shipped to my house on 4/24/2020 and my dad passed exactly 6 years later on 4/24/2026) - And of course, a moon for our kids Papa He was so loved and is so so missed, but we will keep telling stories about him and to him 🌙 We will continue to carry on the legacy of being his fishing buddies! A HUGE thank you to @tattsby.tay for making this vision come to life and for being such a kind person💗 The original lure keychain 💗 The date it shipped to me! Gone fishing 🎣 Gone fishing 🎣 Gone fishing 🎣 Next generation of Papa’s fishing buddies 🥺🐟

around the studio today 🫶🏽 reflecting on the day while looking at these photos makes me so grateful that this space feels like home and the people in it like family :’) i think the best part of today was hearing an awful first date story where the guy “honked” her toe lmao. i really think we need to have a podcast for the stories we hear while tattooing— what do you think? 😂 @tattsby.tay @inked.bysj @intentional.ink all captured by @zaouliiii 🖤

HOPE \hōp\ (noun) 1. a desire of some good, accompanied with at least a slight expectation of obtaining it, or a belief that it is obtainable shoutout to @buffalopotholebandit for starting this buffalo hope project with local artists around our city. keep an eye out around the streets for my addition to this project! my intention is this brings anyone passing by a little reminder that despite everything going on in the world around us, we should continue to live for the hope of it all 💫 and shoutout to @tattsby.tay for helping me out with some of the painting work 🎨💛

dear 46 Cassandra Circle, you were inked into my soul far before you were inked into my skin. there’s only a small number of people in this world that understand the magic of whispering winds and I’m so grateful that I’m one of them. my childhood was filled w/ so much joy, fun, imagination and love. forever thankful for the memories. you will always have my heart ♥️ Ps: there’s gotta be something in the water because we’re all nuts in some way.
