One year ago, I posted this reel with butterflies in my stomach… wondering if I was completely crazy for saying yes to something so new 👀

What started as “this feels aligned” became:
✨ new friendships
✨ new confidence
✨ new purpose
✨ growth I genuinely didn’t expect
✨ opportunities I never saw coming
✨ and honestly… a version of myself I had missed for a while

When my previous company disappeared overnight, I felt completely shaken.
Not just financially — emotionally too.

I had lost something I had poured years of my heart into.
And rebuilding yourself after that? It’s not just business. It’s personal.

But this past year reminded me of something important:
sometimes the hardest endings make room for things that fit you even better.

I’ve learned that expansion doesn’t always look logical from the outside.
Sometimes it just feels right in your gut before you can explain it.

This past year stretched me in the best ways possible.
I discovered that starting over doesn’t mean you failed.
Sometimes it means life is making room for something bigger.

And one thing I know for sure now?
Women in their 40s are NOT done dreaming, building, evolving or reinventing themselves.
If anything… we’re just getting started.

Am I where I ultimately want to be?
Not even close.
But not because I’m unhappy — because I genuinely believe there’s no limit to what I can build, experience or become.

And honestly… isn’t that the beauty of life?

The biggest surprise in all of this?
I didn’t lose myself by starting over.
I found more of myself again.

One year later…
I’d make the same decision in a heartbeat 🤍

So if you’re in a season where something is pulling at you… where you feel curious, excited, terrified and energized all at once?

Sometimes that feeling is there for a reason.
Trust yourself a little more than you think you should.
