🪩 NYCDA WEEKEND! 🪩
………………………………………………………………………………………

This was an amazing experience and I am so glad I was able to attend. This was a crazy long weekend full of dance. This weekend I doubted myself and was stuck in comparing myself to the other amazing dancers. But by the end of the weekend I was able to say I was proud of the person I became. The teachers were so inspiring and they really wanted you to feel welcome. I don’t believe that convention is a place for competition but rather just dancing to learn and dancing for yourself. One of our teachers said something that stuck with me - “ it’s not about the loss today it’s about what you do the next day to improve and get better that will lead you to victory.”- Thank you NYCDA for an inspiring weekend.

I had an amazing time at @nycda I love going to conventions to learn from new teachers, but more than that I love learning about myself. I have grown so much this year not just as a dancer but as a person and I feel like I could see that growth in myself this weekend! I have always hid myself in convention settings because I never thought I was good enough, but this weekend I really felt myself let go and just do what I love. I am so unbelievably proud of my team for stepping outside our comfort zones the past two days and I adored the positivity all weekend, I hope to come back next year!!❤️

An absolutely amazing way to cap off the comp season! (Thank you @precisionartschallenge )This season has taught me so much and I have pushed myself past any limits I had put on myself. God has blessed me in so many ways and I have loved being able to praise him on the stage with this solo. It’s never been about the awards to me because leaving the stage knowing it’s the best I could’ve done is all that matters to me, but this time the judges agreed with me and I got 3rd place and the “power and passion” judges award. I’m so so proud of myself and my team for this year, I have the best support system with these girls and they are like the sisters I never had. I love you guys and I can’t wait to see where we go from here💗💗

Our last group competetion of the season done. Stepping on that competition stage together one last time is something i wish i could relive over and over. all the time we spent together this season, practices, jokes, and everything in between, is what made this team so special. So so grateful!!

thank you for every laugh, every late night, every push to be better, and every moment we created along the way. not the end for me, but definitely the end of something special with this team.

Such an amazing time at @precisionartschallenge 💜🩷

Last group comp of the season!! Comp season wouldn't have been this great if it wasn't for my amazing teammates and teachers! My team is filled with the most supportive, hardworking and inspiring people and i'm so lucky i get to dance with them. I was able to achieve so many goals because of my amazing teachers who have pushed me to try new things and not give up when things get difficult! I would not be the dancer that i am without them 🫶🏻 (I had like 3 pics from comp so i added a couple random ones idrk😛)

My love letter to comp season 💌💌

Last group comp in the books!! So incredibly proud of this team! We couldn’t do it without our amazing leaders, teammates, and supporters! My takeaway from this weekend is that dedication is way more powerful than anything. You are not going to win every time you compete but that’s how you grow. No matter what God has a plan for you and his plan is always the right one! So grateful for this weekend!
( didn’t get many pics at this comp lol)
