So grateful to have been part of this shop opening with such an incredible business woman, @tawneepopil, and a brilliant team. Thank you to everyone who came out for the grand opening — it was a truly magical evening✨

What makes a business truly shine is always the humans behind it. I really believe independent businesses bring so much life, character, and community to our cities.

Feeling very grateful to work alongside @thevend.mtl @thevendcollective

It’s here! Meet the finished cash desk. 🥂

This project was a labor of love, grit, and a lot of late nights. I officially crossed the finish line mere hours before the grand opening.

It wasn't always a smooth ride—I’ve got the tendonitis to prove it—but seeing it standing "in all its glory" makes me so proud of the journey. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing your vision become a functional part of a new space.

What do you think of the final look? 👇

It was such an absolute pleasure to work with the owner Tawnee of the Vend Mtl. Her calm demeanor and fearless sprit inspired the whole team! What a cool accomplishment!

PS : vous me manquez 🫶🏻

English version (for Tanw & Lil 💛)
Before sharing the project I’ve been working on for several months, I wanted to thank the person who taught me everything. Some of you may already know, I just returned from two years in Canada, where I worked in a consignment store specializing in slow fashion (@thevendcollective & @thevendslowly ).

Working at The Vend, alongside Tawnee and Lilia, taught me to consume differently and discover many ethical brands that respect both workers and the environment. This job quickly became a true passion. I knew that returning to France, I would miss this work… and for several months now, I’ve been thinking about creating a mini French version.

A huge thank you to @tawneepopil for passing on this passion, and to @lilia.lavoie , my Saturday sidekick.
PS: I miss you 🫶🏻

I’ll just leave this here for the 2024 mems 😌❣️
Thousands of hours sewing not pictured, but all worth it for these moments, and to add pieces to your wardrobes that you’ll love for years to come.

Looking forward to more in 2025 💘🧵
