12 YEARS IN THE TAX INDUSTRY… and I think it’s time I start talking about this side of my business a little more. 💻 This upcoming tax season will mark my 12th year in the tax industry. I spent 5 years connected to a tax franchise, learning the business, the systems, the industry and what happens behind the scenes. Then I made the decision to step out and build my own. And over the years, one thing I’ve learned is that there is SO MUCH MORE to the tax industry than simply preparing somebody’s tax return. There’s software. There’s infrastructure. There’s building a client base. There’s developing preparers. There’s building an actual tax BUSINESS. And now, I’m ready to start sharing more of what I’ve learned. Because let’s talk about where we are right now… The way this economy is looking, relying on ONE stream of income is getting harder and harder. Everything costs more. Families are looking for ways to bring additional income into their households. Business owners are looking for ways to diversify. And somebody reading this has probably already been thinking: “I need another stream of income.” Tax preparation may be one of the businesses you’ve never seriously considered. So over the next several weeks, I’m going to take you behind the scenes and talk about the BUSINESS of taxes — from becoming a preparer, to software, to building your own tax business, and even understanding what a Service Bureau actually is. Because there are LEVELS to this industry. 👀 And after 12 years… I think it’s time we talk about it. 💻💰 If you’ve ever considered the tax industry as an additional stream of income, drop a 💻 below or DM me TAX BUSINESS. Stay close. I’m just getting started. #TaxBusiness #TaxProfessional #TaxSoftware #ServiceBureau #MultipleStreamsOfIncome TaxSeason2027 Entrepreneurship

I was reflecting on 2021 today. Everything seemed to be clicking on all four cylinders. ✨ I had recovered from one of the hardest seasons of my life after my divorce. ✨ My real estate business was thriving. ✨ My tax business was growing. ✨ I was a Top Producer Sales Director with Mary Kay. ✨ I was buying and selling real estate myself. Life was moving fast, and it was producing. Then life changed. I got married. I became a mother. My husband and I planted a church. We built businesses that required a different version of me. For a while, I wondered if I had lost my groove. But I’ve realized something… I wasn’t losing momentum—I was building a different life. Some seasons are for producing. Some seasons are for planting. Now, I feel that familiar fire again. Not because I’m trying to relive 2021, but because I believe everything I learned in that season prepared me for this one. This time, I’m building with more wisdom, more purpose, and more balance. The dream didn’t die. It just grew up. 2026… let’s build again. 🌱

What started 11 years ago as someone simply giving me a chance under their franchise brand… became the foundation for something far greater. ✨ In October 2014, I entered the tax industry because someone opened a door and gave me an opportunity. I didn’t fully know then where the journey would lead… but I said yes. What started as learning the business under someone else’s brand eventually became my own lane. Over the years, I’ve grown, learned, pivoted, served countless individuals and families, and built experience that can only come through consistency and showing up season after season. What also became unexpected was the opportunity to help empower other women in this industry—to show them what’s possible and help create income opportunities for themselves. For the last 3 years, it’s been me + 1 building and growing this vision intentionally. No overnight success. No shortcuts. Just strategy, faith, resilience, and growth. And now… The brand I once helped build for others has helped shape the vision I’m now building for myself. As I prepare to enter 12 years in this industry this October, I recognize this next season requires elevation. Bigger vision. Premium positioning. Stronger systems. Greater exposure. Expanded impact. What started as someone giving me a chance… became proof that sometimes one opportunity can change the entire trajectory of your life. ✨ TaxMAX — a new era begins. #TaxMAX #FounderStory #WomenInBusiness #12YearsStrong #BusinessGrowth EntrepreneurJourney LegacyBuilding TaxProfessional

Let me be honest for a minute… I built a business because I was tired of choosing between money, motherhood, and mental peace. And I learned very quickly that: • working more didn’t equal earning more • hustle doesn’t guarantee stability • and God didn’t call me to grind myself into the ground to “be successful” I wanted freedom. I wanted flexibility. I wanted income that didn’t steal my time, health, or joy. And entrepreneurship — specifically the tax industry — allowed me to do that. Now my assignment is shifting: I help women build businesses that fund their families, honor their faith, and support a soft, sustainable life. Not scammy. Not stressful. Not chaotic. Legal. Profitable. Sustainable. Peaceful If you’re a woman who feels called to more — not just money, but purpose and peace — Stay close. 💛 This next season is about wealth without burnout. ✨Follow for faith + finance + systems for women who want freedom. #SoftLifeBusiness #FaithAndFinance #WomenInBusiness #TaxBusinessCoach
