4 1/2 years later & 2 degrees hotter🤭

People say that the journey makes the destination worth it. Don’t get me wrong, the journey was a BATTLE. From switching my major 4 times in undergrad, to finding my passion for nursing, I have struggled with hardships and doubt in myself. Overtime I felt i wasn’t able to achieve my dreams yet the Lord, my family and friends pushed me towards my goals. And now I believe wholeheartedly that the journey was worth it!!
I am truely blessed to say that I am officially a Texas Tech & Texas Tech HSC Alumni!

Thank you to @texastech @ttuhscson for making my dreams come true and pushing me to show myself that I am capable of great things!

So excited for the journey ahead🩺❤️

He got down on one knee and I SAID YES! 🤩💕

Who knew a year and a half ago the guy I would meet off Bumble with Remi in the middle of the woods on a weekday morning before work would end up being my forever. 🫶 — And yes, it sounds bad, but it turned out pretty okay! (just don’t do what I did and not tell anyone😂)

On Saturday after a short shift, I met Lincoln and Remi at the park that we first met at to go for a hike (that I thought was my idea.) Little did I know he had it all planned and once we finished up our three miles he would bring me to a bench where our families were hiding in the woods and get down on one knee. Of course I said yes, but only after I said “but not right now” while we were talking about our forever thinking he wasn’t prepared. Apparently I’m not as observant as I thought and I’m okay with that 🥰

UCA Training for year 3 was an amazing experience!
