Sherpa Summit Year 3:

A few frames of the weekend and yet it can’t fully capture the magic that is this group of folks, surrounded by these mountains. I usually would ramble on about how incredible it was to see familiar faces, meet new ones & giggle around the campfire.

But I’m just gonna let you soak these in… thanks for such a sweet little getaway @sherpaec team, y’all truly are the best.

Tig welded chromoly 4130 trailing arms with integrated UHMW skids, oversized aluminum panhard bar and upper link, strapped at 20” of travel, machine weld washers on every bolt, custom anti-wobbles and pinch bungs that maintain ideal geometry while articulating, options to run a bed cage or keep your coilovers mounted under your bed, and more.

A 3 link maintains your factory gas tank so you don’t have to run a fuel cell which also means this is still street legal. An actual game changer for 2005-2023 Toyota Tacomas… More to come!

@overlandexpo Mountain West was such a great reminder of why I spend all of my free time surrounded by the best people, in the best places, with the best rigs.

Gratitude is a huge part of my daily life and I’ve been cheesin’ ever since Thursday night thinking about how lovely this entire weekend was.

I should start saving now.

To see this offroad concept in person was so fun. If @toyotausa brought the Hilux to the states I know quite a few people who will also be buying a trailer 👀 (cough cough)

I definitely did not get around to every booth because if you know me, you know I have to talk to everyone. So to those I got to catch up with, I’m so happy we did and to those I missed, I love you forever and slide into my DM’s if you wanna talk 😏🫶🏼

Expo isn’t expo if you don’t attend the @sherpaec after party. The best crew putting on a legendary event. I look forward to it every year and I lasted on the bull for 47 seconds vs 3 last year sooooo things are looking up 😏

Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun weekend 🥹 I have withdrawals on this Monday morning but I literally can’t wait for the next and hope to see you all at @destination_outdoor on Saturday in Keystone!!!

3 huge takeaways for us

#1 the TrailHunter and TRD PRO trims each offer very very good packages right off the factory lot to be highly capable as is, to be driven on the freeway then go right into wheeling them off-road. The TrailHunter is aimed specifically at overlanding while the TRD PRO really stands out for desert running and high speed off road.

#2 the 2027 TRD PRO has a ton of upgrades, and the performance package option really makes these things beasts right off the lot

#3 Toyota is reading comments and community engagement wayyyyyyyyy more than you guys realize. And their teams are made up of guys that get really into this stuff themselves which is pretty cool.

#4 The TRD PRO Sequoia can absolutely RIP and it makes a strong case to get one of these if you’re ever in need of a Family vehicle because it does both insanely well. 🔥
