I have never felt this connected to a crowd at an event. With loaves of bread raining from the sky, we stomped in the mud, danced in the cold rain, and absorbed the raw talent on the stage in front of us. Thousands of individuals on the same page, finding an escape through the chaos.

There were ups and downs. Every emotion was felt. Peace, love, sadness, guilt.

Bliss poked through like spots of blue sky through the storms. Those moments are why I find solace in this community. Relief from the madness. Connection deeper than the music.

Thank you to my friends for the grace and joy you bring to my life. Thank you Griz and Seven Stars for the gifts you gave me. And thank you to every person I had even a small interaction with this weekend.

I found another home in the hills of Virginia, and I WILL be back☯️✌️☮️

I know I’m taking my sweet ass time finishing this @libfestival series...

but do you ever have so many ideas that you get stuck feeling overwhelmed about how to share it?

add on top of that all the daily activities that need to get done

every time I post I want you to feel something… inspiration, joy, hope, community, the giggles.

but I’m learning that’s only possible when you pour from a full cup. and if it takes you months to share your festival experience, so be it.

no matter what you’re pursuing or showing up for, make sure to show up for yourself first. there’s no rush. you’re not behind. you’re right where you’re meant to be.

allow the good things to take time.

when you create from that place, the right people will always feel the difference.

after shooting photography for the past 12 years, my #1 favorite subject is no doubt my friends.

capturing them in their element, dancing without a care in the world, taking in every little moment they can…

take it up a notch by doing it all at one of the most magical places on earth @libfestival

book that trip. invite your friends. just go live man ❤️‍🔥
