It felt different being in Jamaica this time. Slower. Softer. More at ease. I felt peaceful… almost blissful. 
This was my mom’s second home, and being there made me understand why.

Spreading some of her ashes in her favorite place felt serene, grounding, and deeply connecting.

Being there around her birthday made it all feel intentional, like everything aligned exactly how it was supposed to.

The kids laughed, explored, beached and soaked it all in. We all ate amazing food, made memories, and celebrated life the way she would’ve wanted us to.

This trip reminded me how important it is to cherish your people while they’re here, and to keep them alive in spirit when they’re not here physically. Their energy doesn’t disappear. It lives on through us, through our children, and through the way we move in the world.

Honoring them isn’t just for us or the next generation… it’s for the world.
 Intentionality at its finest.

 But if she insists on going herself… just know it’s something she really wants to do.

At that point, all you can do is: • mentally prepare • stay strong • and go along for the ride
