25 years of loving this beauty with my entire heart and soul. She changed my world forever for the better and I’m the luckiest mama in the world. Taylin you are truly magic and the world is better and brighter because you’re in it. You love your people and your passions with your entire being. You are smart and funny and brave and talented. Happy 17th birthday to my favorite son and one of my most favorite humans on the planet! Genuinely could not love you more or be more proud of who you are and who you are becoming. You are unapologetically unique and yourself and that to me is the coolest quality anyone could ever have. You are so artistically talented, smart, funny, loving and just the coolest kid ever! I don’t think I can adequately put into words how proud I am of my Brekyn Jade. She has spent the last 10 months dancing and training 9-5, M-F at CLI dance conservatory. I knew she would enjoy her time there no matter what because of who she innately is. (She finds the good and positivity in any and every situation.) But she has absolutely thrived! She has pushed herself in so many ways as a dancer, choreographer and a human. Watching her dance in their final showcase filled my heart with so much pride and awe. The stage is where she has always belonged and I’m so happy she found her way back to it. Every teacher we spoke to said how talented and versatile she was but they also all pointed out how kind, nice, hard working and inclusive she is. She was a friend to all and always came to class with the best energy. That to me is the ultimate praise as a mom. She is one of a kind and I’m so happy they got to see the real Brekyn. The group of dancers this year was in a league of their own and I’m truly proud of every single one of them for creating such a special year for themselves. She has met some of the best people and made lifelong friends from this experience that I know she’ll take with her forever. Thank you to the staff of CLI for creating such a special place and for nurturing and taking care of my girl. Brekyn- you are truly so special and I can’t wait to see what you’ll do in your very bright future. I love you so much my heart could actually burst! This is just the beginning ✨
