I wasn’t sure if I was going to post this, but looking back on this first year, I think it’s a story worth sharing.

I came into i2i still recovering from surgery and later faced further injuries, along with challenges both on and off the pitch, making this year incredibly tough. There were moments when I doubted myself, but through it all, God never stopped being faithful. He carried me through every setback, reminding me that my worth is found in Him, not football, and making a way even when I couldn’t see one.

I’m forever grateful to my coaches for believing in me, encouraging me when I struggled to believe in myself, and supporting me every step of the way. To my teammates, for making this year so special and for becoming some of my closest friends. I’ll never take any of it for granted.

This wasn’t the first year I imagined, but maybe it was the first year I needed. I’m so thankful I’ll be back next season, and I’m excited to see what God has planned next.
