Volleyball wasn’t always a part of my life. I started my freshman year because my friends were playing and little did I know this sport would become one of my greatest loves in life. It’s taught me teamwork, dedication, determination, love, friendship and so many more lessons but best of all it gave me my best friends.

I Thank God so much for putting this sport with these amazing girls in my life, they’ve made the biggest impact on me and have given me the best memories I think I’ll ever have. To think that I was going to quit after my first year is insane because none of this would be here now.

Thankyou to all of my coaches who have helped me develop so so much throughout the years I’m forever grateful, and Thankyou most of all mommy and daddy for always believing in your little girl. For the early morning practices, for being in the stands supporting me and for loving me through it all.

I’m so sad that it’s over but I know that we ended on a high! I’m so proud of how every last one of us played on that court. We left it all out there and I wouldn’t of wanted to end it another way than being out there with my girls one last time. Don’t take these moments for granted as they don’t last as long as you think.

And finally to my core four and fabulous 5. You guys are literally my reason why. I love you girls more than you’ll know and we will forever be bonded through not only this sport but through our immense love for each other. From bus rides, to Panera bread after a win, to rants after practice and car rotting for an hour, I’ll never forget these amazing times. Love you
