years ago I wrote on a blog about love day. tbh I’m not even sure you could locate it lol but I think today waking up, I felt the same heavy heart for my single girlies out there & even those who are lost in feeling like they aren’t enough & looking for picture perfect Notebook kind of love to fill them up. maybe the world hasn’t been kind to you lately. maybe when you look around, all you see is the engagements and the happy married couples or even the big promotions. all the things that remind you of where you thought you would be or what you thought you would have. & it just stings a little. & days like today feel like an extra kick of reality of not having that boyfriend or that ring or that wedding or that picture perfect marriage.

sis,
can I speak life over you today & remind you WHOSE you are & what He says about you.
You are loved beyond measures.
You are adopted & made purposeful in Him.
You are pursued everyday. in fact, He leaves the 99 to seek you out & find you & wrap you up in His arms.
You are remembered & never alone.
You are chosen despite everything you have done.
You are fearfully & wonderfully made.
& the love your soul has been longing for? it exists. What???? Can you believe it? It really does?? yes but not in your spouse or your friend or your child or your boyfriend.
It is the love that King Jesus has for His children, his sons & daughters. & yes, that includes YOU. You were handpicked & made for a purpose. for an opportunity such as this. to live right here, right now in the truth of being loved & pursued by the Creator of the Universe, Abba, King, El Roi—don’t let the enemy win today. He wins when you allow him to speak these ugly lies over you through other people, through social media, through everything going around you & often times what you don’t have.

praying today you fix your eyes on things above. On WHOSE you are & His purpose for YOU because you, my friend, are soooooo LOVED 🫶🏽

when I got my first camera many years, I made so many videos, “travel vlogs” if you will, of the many trips we went on. One of those being a trip to Chicago my freshman year hall mates. I have loved the city of Chicago ever since that trip & I finally got to go back last weekend. Here’s a little peak 🎄🤍🥂
