I am so late to post this, but TINA! I’m filled with much joy and gratitude for this entire experience. Playing such a complex character like Zelma was challenging yet rewarding. Getting to whoop a mans a** each night on stage was such a fulfilling experience. 😂😂 And to the cast, sharing the stage with you has been such an honor. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms especially toward the end of a long journey. Your generosity and acceptance is something I will forever cherish! I’m so happy the universe brought us together! PHOTO DUMP 1. The Cadillac Theater 2. Mom and Dad 🤎🤎 3. My stage husband! Love you Kee 4. Posing with the baddest @jadynrlynah 5. This past Sunday, I took my final bow as Tina Turner on the second national Broadway tour of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical. This is easily the hardest role and show I’ve done ever in my life, and probably will be the hardest thing I do for a while. This process was incredibly humbling yet I’m walking out of this process more confident than I ever have been. I’m so immensely grateful for my cast and the production team for picking me up every time I fell. You all have done more for me than you will ever know. To the incomparable Tina Turner, it has been the honor of a lifetime telling your story.

Grateful. There’s truly no other word that captures what I feel right now. Even now, it’s hard to believe that I’ve been blessed to live this life for the past 317 days. To share the stage with some of the most gifted, passionate, and inspiring artists I’ve ever known. To travel across the country doing what I love, telling this incredible story, night after night (when I wasn’t in urgent care). To step into the shoes of Tina Turner…TINA FREAKING TURNER. To rediscover parts of myself I thought I’d lost. To feel free. Whole. Alive. This journey has given me back pieces of myself I didn’t even realize I was missing. I will never, ever take it for granted. Not the work. Not the people. Not a single moment. Through every doubt, every fear, every voice that whispered I couldn’t..
I could.
I did.

Last night I saw the Broadway show Tina The Tina Turner Musical, and it was Simply The Best show ever. @moxdawson blew me away with her performance as Tina Turner. It was wonderful to see her portray this iconic singer! @flash_baker was amazing as Ike Turner, and I really enjoyed his performance. @taylor_brice2014 and @natalia.nappo were incredible and stole the show as Young Anna Mae and Young Alline. @flygirldee12 was amazing Gran Georgeanna. I loved her performance. @kris10daniels was fantastic as Rhonda. I really enjoyed watching her on stage! @joehornberger was fantastic as Roger Davies, and I loved seeing him on stage. The ensemble were all incredible. I was so blown away with their performance! After the show, I went to the stage door and met the cast. They were all very nice and I loved meeting them! If this show is in a city near you, I highly recommend seeing it! It is not to be missed!!!! #broadway #tinathemusical #tinaturner

I left TINA about three weeks ago, so this is also my goodbye post, but I’ve been rooting for you guys from afar to get to the finish line. Today’s the day! So, Congratulations and Happy Closing to the Cast of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical 2nd Broadway National Tour 🎉 This isn’t everyone of course, but TINA is such a challenging show on so many levels and a lot goes into telling Tina’s story. Touring can be much harder than people realize, and it really takes some resilience to do it. What a special group of humans. You’ve all EARNED your flowers 💐 I’m forever grateful for how you all welcomed me into the family, supported me on the journey and sent me off to my new adventure with so much love. My Ikette and Tina debuts really meant something to me because this story is so special. My bow from my Tina debut shows just a fraction of the love I received. Thank you, really. Tina and this show definitely have a piece my heart, and I’m so glad I got to share a part of this experience with everyone. Love you guys 🫶🏽
