the year is really flying by. and I guess, *technically* summer has ended. even though it’s still 90° in Atlanta. we moved into our house this month!! spending a lot of time making it feel more like home. we went to a fun family wedding and it was so nice to have everyone together for the first time in a long time. so pumped for it to cool off down here. I want to wear a sweater.

I’m excited to share that the latest episode of “Roots & Recipes” ft. Sonja Norwood and her mother, Sandra Norwood, is now up on all ESSENCE social and digital platforms! 🙌🏾

This was the first time we did this execution in the field, and @juststeveallen and team did an incredible job of bringing the Norwood’s beautiful story to life! 🎥❤️

The way @essence and @cocacola have partnered over the last year with this franchise has left me with a rich sense of pride and purpose. It was a blessing to serve as producer and host for this one. 🙏🏾. Cheers all around to the best team in the business! @fiftyshadesofkd , we got ourselves another one Sis! 🥂🫶🏾

To watch the full episode, head over to the ESSENCE IG page ASAP!

Got to see the coveted World Cup trophy up close a couple months ago, and I finally got around to sharing my experience now that the tournament has ended. 😂🏆⚽️

Many thanks to our partners at Coca-Cola for the exclusive experience and hospitality at the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour! ❤️

Major congratulations to Spain on taking first place! 🎉. Also, I’m glad they were able to crop Trump out of all of their pictures, as they deserved the best of what their win warranted. 🤷🏾‍♀️😄

And…Shoutout to Argentina for losing…many of their fans failed at the art of sportsmanship amongst other things. 🙄
