The NYC Dreamgirls shoot wasn’t just about clothes—it was about legacy.

About how Black and Brown New York women have always been the blueprint. Always been the moment. Always been the fashion.

As a native New Yorker, a plus size woman, and someone who grew up showing up with attitude and outfit... this shoot was a love letter to that version of NYC.

To the girls who mix Rainbow with runway. To the baddies with big hoops, big dreams, and bigger bodies. To the style that doesn’t ask permission—it takes up space.
