Inman senior Taylor Froese is putting together an impressive start to her senior season and has been a major piece of the team’s perfect 9-0 start.

Froese is averaging 6.2 kills per set, ranking among the state’s leaders, while hitting at an impressive .408 clip. She is closing in on 100 kills already this season and has recorded 511 kills in her high school career. Inman is currently ranked No. 5 in Class 2A and has yet to drop a match this fall. With the start Froese has put together, look for the senior to have a breakout final season on the volleyball court.

Froese’s athletic ability goes well beyond volleyball. She is also a standout in softball and track and field for Inman, earning Sports in Kansas All-State honors across all three sports. She also owns the school record in the discus. A multi-sport standout and one of the state’s early leaders in kills per set, Froese is a name to watch for Inman this season. #sportsinkansas

SIK 2A State Softball Player to Watch 🥎

Inman junior Taylor Froese continues to build one of the most impressive all-around athletic résumés in Kansas and is a major reason the Teutons are headed back to the 2A State Tournament.

Inman enters state at 24-2 after dominant regional wins over Hutch Trinity (19-3), Medicine Lodge (7-1), and Ashland (11-0). Froese has now helped lead the Teutons to three straight state tournament appearances, including a 4th-place finish in 2024 and state runner-up finish in 2025.

The 2027 standout has been incredible at the plate this season, batting .526 with a .619 OBP and 1.490 OPS. Froese has totaled 41 hits, including 12 doubles, 6 triples, and 36 RBIs while also stealing 16 bases.

Her success extends far beyond softball. Froese is a standout multi-sport athlete who has earned SIK All-State recognition in volleyball, softball, and track & field while also helping Inman capture team state titles in track. She was state runner-up in discus, placed at state in shot put, owns the school discus record, and has also helped lead Inman volleyball and basketball to deep postseason runs. She also qualified for state in both the shot put and discus so she will have a very busy upcoming week!

“We are so excited for the competitive atmosphere and are blessed to be headed to the state tournament for the third consecutive season. This team feels like a family, and there is no one else I’d rather share this experience with,” Froese said.

Froese also highlighted teammates Lyla Levin and Maddison Parsons as other key contributors for the Teutons this season. Off the field, she carries a 4.0 GPA, is a member of National Honor Society, and serves as STUCO Secretary.

Inman is the #4 seed in the 2-1A State Tournament and will play #5 seeded St. Mary’s Colgan tomorrow in Emporia at 11:00 AM. #sportsinkansas
