July was full of so many fun memories, but one of my favorite weekends was celebrating our dear friend Sasha’s 30th birthday. 💙
Thank you for asking me to help co-host your junk journal-themed celebration. It was such a fun-filled weekend, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. From making art together to ending the night watching fireworks with everyone, “red, white, blue is in the sky” couldn’t have been a more fitting soundtrack. ❤️🤍💙

Art has a way of bringing people together, and I’m so grateful it’s what brought all of us into each other’s lives. We’re so lucky to have you in our little creative corner of the world. Thank you for inspiring us, bringing people together, and making space for all of us to create alongside you. Happy 30th, Sasha. ✨

— it’s been a whole week since death becomes her took it’s final bow and i’m genuinely so so sad about it 💜

the show that finally got me to broadway because i was not going to miss jennifer simard and megan hilty leading such a girl power musical. i did it. and then i flew back to new york city from london another three times since last august. i’ve seen so many cast combinations and have had some of my most favourite live theatre experiences because of this show.

the friends, the validation, the reignition for a love of performing, the visibility; there is so much to be grateful for. i don’t want to get too soppy, but i have loved musicals since i was small, and the only other musicals i have had such a deep special connection with are mary poppins and the sound of music. death becomes her has earned a special place in my heart as a girl in her late twenties in the same way that mary poppins and tsom did when i was six.

thank you @deathbecomesher for being my happy place. thank you @bwolfepack and @thejennifersimard and that gorgeously talented cast for bringing the joy and giving us the magic of live theatre. most importantly, thank you to all the wonderful WONDERFUL friends i have made because of this silly beautiful show about the spooky magic drink.

Words can't describe what this week end was, and what a year it was too ! ✨

How crazy it is that a show can change someone's life ?
The year 2025 was a mess, I remember cleaning my appartment, just got fired from a job, when I listened for the first time the album and I completely stopped everything and felt something I haven't felt in a long time : happiness.
I decided to save money and make it happend.
In april I was lucky to see the show not once but twice, and when I saw that the show was closing, there was no way to miss it.

I made friends, I performed, I felt something : joy, happiness, excitment.

I wasn't sad during the last performance, I actually laughed and couldn't stop smiling the whole time because it felt crazy to be here, to experience this.

To all the amazing people who went on that stage and made the public feel something for a moment, in our bubble to forget the world outside, thank you !

I think, as much as the show is about two drop dead gorgeous women, you made a lot of people feel alive (forever !) 🔮✨

I first discovered death becomes her through a little tiktok I got sent by @brooookmaiden, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that because I had no idea what was coming my way. the happiness and comfort this show has brought so many of us is irreplaceable.

I cannot thank @josh.lamon & @thejennifersimard enough for what you do. I’m forever grateful that I got to see everything you both put into Helen & Stefan, as they mean so much to me and so many others. thank you for making my little new york adventures so magical. i’ve met so many people through you both, and I went home with the sweetest memories that will truly last a lifetime. I couldn’t ask for two better people to admire. 🤍

To my forever theater buddy: thank you. Thank you for everything. I met you at 19 years old in one of my most broken, shattered states, and yet you chose me…little terrified, closeted me. Here we are almost nine years and two huge moves across the country later, and I would not change a single second. You told me that you wanted to be with someone who was proud to be with you and not someone afraid to hold your hand because of the looks I might get.
