GIVE FOR GOOD LOUISVILLE IS TODAY! @brelintilford and I have put our hearts and souls into creating @upcomingstorytellers . What started as an idea to give young people access to opportunities in this industry has grown into something we’ve been able to see make a real impact on young lives.

We’ve watched students walk in unsure of themselves and leave excited about what they’re capable of. We’ve seen them discover new talents, build relationships with professionals, find internships and opportunities, and start to see a future for themselves that they may not have considered before.

That is why we keep doing this.

Our programs are completely free for students, and your donations help us provide the equipment, mentors, meals, transportation, and real-world experiences that make them possible.

You can donate anytime today — and truly, every donation matters to us.

DONATE TODAY:

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, volunteered, mentored a student, donated, or simply believed in what we’re building. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Long time no see! Thought I’d share a bit of my summer with y’all :)

Honestly, it’s been busy as hell.

I spent my summer interning with @mediaprosprod, jumping between music video sets, podcasts, short films, interviews, commercials… too much to count😅.

I also got the chance to co-write and star as the lead in “Game Changers,” an upcoming short film from Media Pros, while simultaneously spending months working on my own short film, “The Grand Design” (@thegranddesignfilm).

But it wasn’t all work.

I got to spend time with people I love, reconnect with my identity, reflect on where I’ve been, and act on the future I want for myself.

This summer reminded me that no matter how far you go or who you become:

Never forget your roots or the plant you grew. 🌱

Thank you, Louisville, KY. Until next time. 💚

So, my secret is out 👀

i’ve been working behind the scenes on 50mm Grit for a year now, and we shot The Drift in ONE day. july 25 we’re doing a double showing of both films inside a real movie theater. i always knew this was possible, now it’s just reality.

shout out to my whole team and everyone who poured into this 🌱 even the city showed up for us, TARC donated buses and more to make it happen. that’s the kind of support that moves a vision forward.

y’all be on the lookout. and if you want in, hit me up, there’s more ways to get connected within this industry than people think. Movie Poster Created by @eleanorrwhite

Peace 🌱🤲🏽💫
