POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Designed this over-the-ground burial for a short film this past weekend.🪦 Definitely lost sleep for about 2 days going through different design ideas, revising, re-revising and re-re-revising. Luckily it came together, which was a huge relief because a lotttt was riding on this thing working 🫣

Thank you to my art assistants Elaine and Kayleigh for helping me execute this without any knowledge of what they were walking into when they got on set 🙃 could not have done it without them 🤘🏼 and shoutout to my PD @taylormchow who trusted me with the vision ✨

We did it! What an amazing night at the @mamm_vaff 21 gala!

I had a great time as 1st Assistant Director on The Glow Up. Learned alot, and hopefully I was a good role model for others too. So honoured that we won Best Vertical Series! Follow @theglowupfilm to watch all episodes!

Also happy to be 2nd AC on 500 Words for Yeoreum by @youngcastleproductions . What a heartfelt and amazing film! Congrats on winning Best Editing, and Audience Choice Best Performance and Best 10min Short!

I would like to thank EVERYONE for helping me bring Cathy to life! Behind our very short, 10 minute film, was an amazing cast and crew who persevered through 12 hour shoot days.

1. @by.annielo ty for being the BEST on-screen bestie a girl could ever ask for 🥹 i genuinely felt our friendship come to life when the cameras were off as well 🎀
2. @peepsnme was the most ICONIC and GOATED grandma 🤩 your performance made the scenes so real and memorable. NO ONE does Grandma Mei better than you 🫡
3. @aw_fmuf ty for letting me smash our teeth on camera and tolerating the abuse 😎
4. @sherbloomy was the BEST director ever with incredible writing skills and I could feel her aura a couple blocks down. She was so helpful to all us actors during filming. As an actor, we are told that not every director knows how to help you act WHICH IS FAIR but Sher really knew how to bring out the best of us and her team. I was truly impressed with her abilities to help facilitate our acting which is a rare skill indeed 🫡
5. @auri_wrknh (my ‘Gabi’ with too much aura), @pho3nia , @taylormchow , @dxkaiyuan , @filmbyizzyseow , @wangliest : y’all were the CUTEST, coolest and sweetest crew members ever. thanks for always making me and the rest of the cast feel at home on set 🥹❤️
6. @wingwingchiiiiiiiiii @emvisionit @lololooks @airplus__angeline_cut i don’t think Cathy would be well, CATHY 🌸💕🎀✨🪩 without her incredible hair and makeup team. y’all ATE down with her looks 🥹💅🏼
7. During this time, I was working with my incredible acting coach @mykristinalao from @sonderacting ⭐️ I highly recommend her private coaching. She is kind, encouraging, and a wonderful teacher who helps you discover who you are in your role. 😎
8. @reneekmorrow My fellow bestie in film 🎭 Thank you for always supporting me and helping me with my auditions ILYSM and you’re my lucky charm 🍀❤️
9. Cathy photos by @the.omelette_

I’m sorry if I missed anyone lol I am currently very sick as I’m making this caption 🤒

I can’t wait to see where the wind takes us as we navigate the entertainment world together! Wishing all of y’all the very best 🫡🤝🧧✨🔮

🏆✨ WE DID IT! THE GLOW UP WON BEST VERTICAL SERIES AT MAMM21! ✨🏆

What an unforgettable moment. 🌟

The Glow Up started as an idea and became something so much bigger because of the incredible people who believed in it. I’m beyond proud of what Team GLOWMAXXING created together. Through every challenge, every long day, every laugh, every stressful moment, and every little bit of magic we found along the way, we became a family and now we get to celebrate this incredible achievement together. 🥹🏆

Thank you to MAMM21, everyone who supported us, voted for us, shared our story, and believed in this project. And a massive thank you to all of our sponsors and partners who helped make this possible.

We set out to tell a story with heart, something funny, human, meaningful, and ultimately about learning to see the beauty and value within yourself.

Day ✌🏼 on set for @theglowupfilm working in the art dept 👩🏻‍🎨Learned a lot from this project and got to meet some amazing people 🕺

One of my biggest (maybe only) flexes in life is that I don’t really ever get acne but on the eve of filming day a monstrous 3D zit popped up right next to my lip and it was an ✨amazing✨ feeling as a painfully awkward introvert walking onto a set full of strangers and introducing myself while I could feel it literally weighing down my lip 😀 but it’s fine it’s character building I think idk I think I’m a stronger person now or maybe I’m just good at suppressing trauma

Some of my favourite memories from 🌟The Glow Up🌟weren’t captured in the final film, they happened in between takes. 🤍🎬

Looking back at these behind-the-scenes moments, I’m reminded of just how lucky I was to work alongside such an unbelievably talented, passionate, and supportive group of people. Every single person brought something special to this production, and together we created an atmosphere that made even the longest days feel like they flew by.

As a producer, it’s easy to get caught up in schedules, budgets, and solving problems, but this team reminded me why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place. It’s about bringing people together to create something bigger than ourselves.

I’m so incredibly proud of what Team GLOWMAXXING accomplished. We poured our hearts into every frame, overcame every obstacle that came our way, and never stopped believing in this project. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better cast, crew, sponsors, or partners to share this journey with.

Thank you to everyone who believed in The Glow Up. This film belongs to all of us, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.

See you at MAMM21!! And don’t forget to vote for Team GLOWMAXXING! 🌟🤩🫶🏻

What started as an idea quickly became something so much bigger than a film. 💙✨

🌟The Glow Up🌟 wouldn’t exist without every single person who gave their time, talent, energy, and heart to this project. To our incredible cast, crew, volunteers, friends, and family—thank you. You believed in this story, and in all of us, and because of that we created something we’re genuinely proud of.

Over the weeks of pre-production and our three unforgettable days on set, I don’t think we just made a film... I think we built a family. Every challenge, every laugh, every early morning, every late night, every problem we solved together brought us closer. I truly feel like we’ve formed an unshakable bond through this experience, and that’s something I’ll carry with me long after the cameras stopped rolling.

This project has taught me so much about leadership, trust, resilience, and the power of surrounding yourself with passionate people who genuinely want to lift each other up. I couldn’t be more grateful to call this team **Team GLOWMAXXING**. ❤️

A massive thank you to our incredible sponsors and partners for believing in our vision:

✨ Enlarge Visions
✨ Sparkys
✨ Signal Systems
✨ Monika Dalman Casting
✨ Re-Ang Lab
