There is nothing more powerful than a woman who knows who she is.

Soft enough to surrender. Strong enough to walk away. Confident enough to take up space. Wise enough to know that what is meant for her will never require her to abandon herself.

You are allowed to evolve. To outgrow. To reinvent yourself as many times as your soul desires.

Never forget how much power you hold in creating a life that feels entirely your own.

THE WORLD IS YOURS.

Skin has always been my favorite part of makeup.

Eyes and lips can change with your mood. Give me a good base and we can figure out the rest.

A little behind the scenes from a lesson with another makeup artist, working on exactly that. 🫶

here’s to chapter 35 🦋

sitting here reminiscing on this last year, my immediate thought was: i am so glad i did not see that coming.

this past year taught me more than i ever could have imagined. it strengthened me in ways i didn’t know were possible, and most of all, it taught me why we aren’t meant to know our future. because if i had known what was waiting for me on my 34th birthday, I’m not sure i would have believed i could make it to 35.

my faith carried me through every storm, over every mountain, and i am so grateful to be sitting here with the dust settled around me, taking my first breath of fresh air in a very long time.

i am so grateful to God for both answered and unanswered prayers. for the things i thought i needed that He knew i didn’t, and for the heart wrenching things i couldn’t yet understand that ultimately brought me exactly where i needed to be.

yesterday, i got to spend my birthday doing what i love, surrounded by people i love. (also flooded with love virtually from people from all over the world) and, in my opinion, love in all forms is what makes life worth living.

now, excuse me while i rise from the ashes🐦‍🔥
