It’s a long video…🤣🤭It’s my official “Summer; Summ-ary” should have posted a month ago! 💛I’m never ready for the warm days to step aside. Summer started on Father’s Day with drinks and boat ride with Caelin, fam, and Capt. Jack in Belmar; followed by Jack Johnson concert💛Celebrated 23rd year with the boys and extended crew for the 4th in OC. Always grateful to our dear friend Scott L for hosting us🏖️ This summer 3 very special “old” friends crossed our path! My kindergarten pal, whose Dad was the high school sports idol of our Dad; and Mom was the card playing, “ladies who lunch”, dear friend of our Mom; the one who makes me laugh and sets me straight with her honesty, Cathie B💕…then my cherished grammar/middle school best friend who I had not seen in 49 years; yet she consistently lets me know she’s there for me💛… standing on her parents Ocean Grove tent / front porch brought me right back to 1976; such cherished memories💕…the third in the trilogy was our grammar school teacher, the beloved “Mrs. Wilson”💕…another long time family friend! Dad went to elementary school with her sister. Then we went to school with their kids! Mom and Dad had friends that transcended generations! I always loved that about them💕 We celebrated Jeff’s 60th…bittersweet without our favorite SIL; we filled a room with love for him; navigated a health issue with our Michael, just before bringing him back to his last year of college; very different from his year abroad last year. He has much to look forward to with three fun, energetic, smart, witty 🤭 roomies! Labor Day with more old friends in Boston, visited Olmstead office, Harvard…we won’t mention the ferry ride to Provincetown 🤢🤣In between we “ordered artwork” from a ‘lil know artist named “CJ” and apprentice Callie; and took on a little project around the house that I know Mom and Dad would he thrilled about, but still brings that heartfelt sting of sadness and missing them… wishing they could be here and be a part of it all💛Ironically summer ended on Sept. 21 spent the day with my NYC museum loving hockey Mom’s who have welcomed me into their NY excursions! A perfect end to summer! Grateful for it all! 💛🌻
