Last year I went to R&V and remember thinking, wouldn’t it be crazy to play here one day. Probably drunk as and giggling at the idea as I said it. I made it a new years goal.

I think this might be the first New Year’s goal I’ve actually stuck to… I didn’t quit vaping.

Big love to all my friends who danced to my sets when there were literally 3 people in the crowd. You guys gave me the confidence to keep putting myself out there, and somehow now we’re here. I am so grateful 🫶🙂‍↕️

Thank you so much @rhythmandvines
See yall at R&V, the final dance in Gisborne!

RNV WE HEREEEE!!! Ridiculously excited to announce that I’ll be playing the Cellar Stage for the Waiohika Warm Up at @rhythmandvines 2026!! It’s absolutely mental to me that I’m playing my first festival set before even making it to 1 year of Choonage. If I hadn’t already done so, I’ve far exceeded my goals for the year. Thank you to everyone for all the support and love you’ve given me that’s allowed me to get on this lineup and achieve more than what I had hoped for the year, you guys are fucking incredible 🙏🙏.
Big love,
Choonage

Couldn’t have got here without the support of our close friends and family massive thank you to everybody that helped get us here 😭🙏
It’s a dream come true to play at RnV and a massive honour to play the last year at Gisborne.

WTF MAN😭❤️

Even though its already known, I want to address this properly. Never in my life would I ever think I would be playing at this festival. Ever since seeing clips of rnv a few years ago, I knew I needed to go and to think now i’m playing at it, it’s just simply mental.

At the very start of this year I started posting every single day to try and get this booking, was it hard? Absolutely. Did I think it would work? Im not sure to be honest, but I knew I was gonna give it my all no matter what.

This would never be possible without all of the support, from comments to likes or reposts, everything counted on this journey and I wanna truly thank everyone so so much for showing me love. If you told me 2 years ago when I first started to dj that this would be where I am right now, I wouldn’t believe you.

I know that ive come so far since then and so no matter what the future holds, I know to be proud of myself. This year has been nothing short of incredible, so lets send it off in the best way possible, on the rhythm stage for the waiohika warmup❤️
