#fb makeup for this gem of a human being, Amanda Cleghorn. She is fun, funny, sweet, smart, and of course an extremely accomplished dancer/actress (check in with her on insta @amandaclegs!). I had the pleasure of working with her numerous times over seasons 2-5 of Lip Sync Battle. This makeup was for the Season 5 Promo for Lip Sync Battle featuring host @llcoolj & @chrissyteigen & all of our ridiculously talented dancers.

In my makeup photo archives, I found this fun image, reminding me of when I worked with this beauty, @candicekumai , early on in her blossoming career.
I had met her & did her hair & makeup when she came in for an interview at the TV Gudie Channel, when she was a contestant on a show called “Top Chef.” She subsequently came back for more interviews and I had the pleasure to work with her several times at the station. We chatted about food, the East Coast, beauty, skincare, fitness. As her career continued to shine, we worked together on headshots, promos, even a modeling shoot. Each & every project she brought that gorgeous, infectious smile and the days were fun & creative. You know what I mean- hardly felt like work. Sending love to you today & every day, Candice💕💄✨

#tbt makeup/hair for the beautiful #LizBenoit for her headshots with one of my fave & uber-talented photographers, @mattbeardphoto . I met Liz on set over 20(!) years ago when I was working & living on the East Coast. I was hair, makeup, & wardrobe (yep, me doing all 3 w/o any other crew in these departments😂) on a show: ha-ha, definitely non-Union.
Liz was one of the actresses on the show. We hit it off on the episode she starred in, and have had our friendship blossom & grow for over 25 years. Such a joy & a blessing.🙏We got together for lunch just before the pandemic lockdown in CA. So grateful, for all the moments I’ve shared with loved ones, even more so, as we continue forward these days. Much love to Liz and Matt for this memorable photoshoot day. I remain in gratitude and look forward to when we all will work together again.

#fbf Swipe! gratitude & zombies & more to makeup HOD @tismeamysparks & her show @tacomafdtrutv . Here are some more fun bts photos of this zombie makeup she had me do for an episode of the show, that she dept heads. Amy had me help out with two other quickie gag makeups, and do 2 more zombie makeups. There were 3 additional artists jammin’ in the additional makeup trailer🙌✨There was a lot of warmth, kindness, & love from the makeup dept. Amy and her partner in crime @madeupbydiana had us hooked up with supplies and a great look board for inspiration. On set, the hair, makeup, & wardrobe depts welcomed us and had us giggling through the wee hours of the morning. It made this job a joyful work experience. I think we worked until 4 or 5 AM?

What a wonderful day🙌❤️☀️Grateful beyond words to join the cast & many of the crew for the premier of “The Killing Of Two Lovers.” I laughed & cried, with the entire audience, watching the film’s premier.
I got to catch up & hug old friends and newer ones. I enjoyed the entire experience from morning ‘til eve!
hope you all get to see this beautiful and relateable film, soon🎬❤️. The performances were simply wow!

☠️Dias Los Muertos☠️ 🎃Swipe left☠️. A fun & quick makeup I did on myself this Halloween before heading to set this morning. I always love a good skull/day of the dead makeup. Thanks to @makeupbyhedvig for the gift of this skeleton onesie & @phylliscohen_archives for her amaze #facelace pieces (I prepped them with swarvorski crystals beforehand) ; it is a huge time saver for this makeup/costume🙌☠️🎨💄. #happyhalloween #makeup #makeupartist #makeupbytc #fun #myhappyplace #skeleton #dayofthedead #crystals #la #werk #yay #grateful #nofilter
I used @wolfefaceartfx water based black paint on my neck and hands and for the handpInted black details, @bennyemakeup lumiere powders to highlight the black details, @phylliscohen_archives face lace which I glued swarvorski crystals onto as well as glued some on my skin, @limecrimemakeup for my brows, lip gloss on my natural side, and their plushies lip color , & their diamond dews on glitter on my “dark side” and mixed some of @maccosmetics dark blue lip color over the black to give it a little more dimension.
Clipped a couple of flowers in my hair & voila! 🙌🧡☠️🎃

#tbt #popart #halloweenmakeup at @cinemasecretspro some years ago. The face paint makeups on Halloween at Cinema Secrets were typically done fairly quickly. I did this one, lashes et al, in approx a 1/2 hr. There was a line out the door of people waiting to get their Halloween makeup/hair done from morning until they closed their doors that night. And about a dozen makeup artists cranking out makeups. Most of us did not know what makeup we would be assigned/who was next in our chairs. I always enjoyed these days. Gratitude to @makeups.by.nina for bringing me on her team for the Halloween makeups at Cinema Secrets🧡🖤🎃She did an incredible job each year of organizing the makeup services for Cinema Secrets for many a Halloween (usually for 3-4 days of artist around the actual day. From getting us stations, supplies, and putting together a makeup & hair team; she slayed it. Thank you again, Nina🙌💛. On this facepaint I used @wolfefaceartfx water colors , @makeupforeverus black aqua cream liner, @bennyemakeup red lip liner all over her mouth, and @cinemasecretspro provided the big lashes. I sealed the makeup to hold up a bit better throughout a night of Halloween partying with MUFE mist & fix setting spray #makeup #makeupartist #facepainting #fun #beauty #lashes #makeuplife #makeuplooks #gratitude
