🚨 BLACK DISPLACEMENT: AN ELDER-RIGHTS & CIVIL-RIGHTS CRISIS IN HARLEM!

For over 60 years, a mother and son called Lenox Terrace home. According to the family, their lives were torn apart when the 98-year-old mother was forcibly removed, placed under guardianship, and separated from her son.

💔 She died months later. Her son was never allowed to see her again—not even after her death.

The family alleges that their displacement was connected to efforts to convert longtime residents' apartments into luxury housing.

🏠 Our elders deserve dignity, protection, and the right to age in place—not forced removal and family separation!

📢 SHAME ON LENOX TERRACE!

We demand accountability, justice, and an end to the displacement of Black families and our elders.

✊🏾 PROTECT OUR ELDERS. PROTECT OUR HOMES. PROTECT OUR LEGACY.

Just like our president. I also believe this was a hoax. But numbers don’t lie, and even though we are not certain of the virus and it’s fatal consequences. We are people who have survive for more than 21 centuries. And we will survive for another 21 I believe. Live long strong and confident. #WAYNESWORLDNEWS #covid_19 #trump #dlhughleyshow #repost #Harlem #likeforlikes #like4likes #likeforfollow @leroy_nickles_md My friend is a doctor on the front lines. He said. ”Take this serious!”
