The brothers of Phi Mu Alpha and the sisters of Sigma Alpha Iota participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

PMA and SAI collaborated to raise awareness and donations. We’ve raised about $400 for the American Cancer Society. This money will be put towards breast cancer research, patient support, and advocacy.

Raising awareness means a lot to us, and we are very proud to participate! It was an honor being able to raise that amount of money with your support and donations. We are grateful to everyone who walked, donated, and showed up for the cause! You all made this possible.

Fighting childhood cancer can feel lonely. But with a whole sisterhood behind you, you never have to fight alone. ⠀
⠀
Through the B+ Heroes Program, sororities (and other groups) across the country are paired with children fighting cancer. The child with cancer and their siblings are "adopted" into the chapter, gaining a whole new group of big sisters to cheer them on, celebrate them and support them. Lifelong friendships are made as they get to spend time with their big sisters on campus, at the park, in the hospital, and so much more!

Our student partners are back to school! Campuses are buzzing with excitement and our partners are gearing up for a great year. In preparation for their yearlong fundraising efforts to fight childhood cancer, the leadership teams held their fall retreats. These retreats are a time for team building, goal setting, and remembering why this work is important to them. We are excited to work together and make this a great year For Our B+ Heroes!
