Business on top. Marginal gains underneath. 😂🚴‍♂️

Another bike adjustment, chasing that sweet spot between aero, comfort… and being able to run a marathon afterward.

Huge thanks to Cory & @isaiahghebrezghi at TCR @tcrsportlab for helping dial things in for IRONMAN Cozumel on November 22—my 60th birthday! 🎂🇲🇽

Still deciding if the blazer makes the race-day kit. The dress shoes probably need cleats. 🤔

Good day.

Ironman is hard, doing it on a hot humid island is even harder. It’s funny how some times the best you can give is just getting to that finish line.

This race was never the end game but a milestone of just enjoying this process of getting better. Just an age grouper chasing this “best that I can be” thing.

Excited to get stuck back in and keep chipping away.

Thats it for this year, see you in 2027 @ironmantri

Kona is something else in the best way🌺🌋

Managed a 10:23 out there which was everything I had. Tough day but a great day at my first World Champs. The heat was no joke and the island was beautifully unforgiving start to finish.

Proud of this one and excited to run it back when the time comes. Thanks to everyone who messaged and big congratulations to all who battled out there and got it done.

Now time for a beer🍻

@mattyvlife | Calgary 70.3

Swim: 44:33, course measured roughly 2100-2300m
Bike: 2:24, big PR
Run: 1:41, 250m+ of elevation

Really proud of the effort Matt put together at Calgary 70.3. This build was anything but straightforward. He had his very special wedding day, balanced a ton of house projects including building out his backyard, and did it all while working days, nights, and plenty of overtime as a police officer here in Calgary.

Training doesn’t always happen in perfect conditions, and Matt is a great example of just continuing to make it work with the life you have around you. Despite everything going on, he still showed up on race day and put together a 4:55:30, highlighted by a massive step forward on the bike with a 2:24 split, before backing it up with a 1:41 run on a course with over 250m of climbing.

Couldn’t be prouder of the work he’s put in and the way he’s balanced everything outside of the sport along the way. Calgary was a great stepping stone, but the big one is still ahead.

70.3 World Championships in Nice in just a couple weeks and it’s been a solid block!!!

One of Calgarys finest😤

@ironman_martaa | Top 5 AG🏆

Top 5 AG | F25-29
Top 20 Overall Female ✅

Swim: 46:22 | 2:16/100m (2km)
Bike: 2:17:11 | 35.0 km/h (80km)
Run: 1:28:19 | 4:54/km (18km)

What a race for Marta!!

It has been a long slow build back into racing after dealing coming off an injury last year, which makes this result even more rewarding to see.

I genuinely couldn’t be prouder of her result, but even more so of her commitment to just getting better every single week and believing in the process, always gets sessions in and if that means waking up at 3-5am to do so, she finds a way. That consistency and willingness to keep showing up has played such a big role in the progress she has made in the sport.

Her cycling has improved massively over the past year, and that really showed here with a 2:17 bike split over 80km, averaging 35.0 km/h. Coming into this race, we had also done very little run intensity due to the build back from injury, so seeing her still come off the bike and run 1:28 for 18km was awesome. A really strong all-around day, finishing Top 5 in her age group and Top 20 overall female.

This was a huge step in the right direction. Super proud of you, Marta. 👏

Nothing like a flat tire to start the race off right. I'm happy that during the race everything worked out, but it was a bit of a scare at the beginning!

Luckily, the bike shop @tcrsportlab helped me out!! Thank-you so much guys!
