Yellowstone fans may recognize the @6666ranch. Now the Texas icon is growing into a lifestyle brand, with help from @texaschristianuniversity. Design students and faculty from @tcufinearts helped create a pop-up store modeled on the ranch’s red horse barn, and fashion merchandising faculty worked on inventory for the Guthrie supply house. Carys Ciobanu ’26 designed clothing for the ranch during a nine-month internship, and several of those pieces are now being made. Research. Design. Athletics. And a few bison. 🦬 TCU senior and student-athlete Mckenzie Bailey brought her worlds together through a graphic design project supporting TCU research at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge. By transforming bison research into engaging visual storytelling, Mckenzie is showing how design can make complex information more accessible — all while balancing life as a cross country and track & field athlete. See how creativity, research and athletics came together at the link in our bio. A person running outdoors on a grassy path, wearing a TCU athletic outfit with the number 814. Text on the image reads: "Where Design Meets Nature. TCU graphic design senior, and student-athlete Mckenzie Bailey turned bison research into an engaging visual story.

Honored to collaborate with @tcu_fashion for the new Athlete Equipment & Materials Design Lab dedicated to testing and developing innovative materials for athletic uniforms and equipment. The visual identity includes a custom logo system, supporting logotypes, and an environmental mural. Its sharp, intersecting geometric patterns abstract the distinctive silhouette and textured form of TCU’s horned frog, connecting the lab’s experimental, performance-driven mission to the university’s iconic mascot.
