Hey y’all, it’s me again. I’m begging for everyone to be EXTRA CAREFUL when we’re recreating outside 🏔️ Chautauqua Park is such a well loved area in Boulder and this makes me really sad. I’m grateful it seems like it was quickly responded to, though. This is the 5th fire on the Front Range in the last 5 days 😭 I’m so grateful for all of the firefighters and emergency personnel who are responding to this fire and all of the others 🫶🏼

Boulder at sunrise ✨ I decided to get out last week to go for a little sunrise hike at the flatirons and it (kind of) failed 😂 It had been in the single digits, so I checked the temperature (it was supposed to be in the 20’s), checked the skies, and made sure I got up early to get there in time. But what I didn’t check was the wind. Y’all. It was windy as hell. There were 40-45mph gusts and it was MISERABLE. I’m pretty tough, I was all layered up, but that wind was awful. If there’s one thing I hate outside, it’s the wind. I didn’t last long and decided to go back to my car. It was rush hour traffic time, so I decided to take a little detour home, and got lucky enough to see the bison (the photos I posted on Monday) 🦬 Thankfully, that little side quest was better, I got some cool shots, and the wind wasn’t as bad. It was still chilly, and I was standing out of the top of my sunroof to get some of those photos, so my hands were exposed to the cold air, but it was worth it.
