A small grip change can feel like a big adjustment. Always pay attention to grip orientation for consistency.

Here, we’re setting the clubface square first, then adjusting the grip reference the V’s. It feels strong to @m_crisologo_ but it gives us a chance to hit those push draws.

Your grip influences how you swing the club through impact (face & path). Use your ball flight as feedback, and give an unfamiliar feel a chance. ⛳️

A sound pre-shot routine helps the player step into the ball calibrated, aligned and committed — giving us the best chance of producing strikes like this one.

Here’s what a solid routine looks like:

1. Glove velcro ON: signal to fully commit. Distracted? Reset.
2. Practice swing: calibrate a technical feel or swing length for distance.
3. Clean club face: make spin more predictable.
4. Alignment: identify an intermediate target from behind the ball.
5. Setup: club down first, then stance width.
6. Look 1: check club face alignment to the target.
7. Look 2: check feet are parallel to the target line.
8. Look 3: absorb the shot shape, visualize and feel.
9. Pull the trigger!

This may sound like a lot, but when we practice this on the driving range it becomes second nature on the golf course. A routine won’t guarantee a pure strike, but it helps give each shot your full attention.

Comment or DM what you like (or hate) about your pre-shot routine! I’m curious to know.

Are you swaying in your backswing? 🏌️‍♂️

Your ability to rotate into your trail hip can play an important role in how you load and move during the backswing.

Limited hip mobility or difficulty coordinating the movement may contribute to excessive lateral sway making it harder to consistently return to the ball at impact.

The key? Identify why you’re swaying before trying to fix it.

Better swings starts with understanding the movements that drive them. 👍

Already recording lesson content but don’t have time to edit and post it?

That’s exactly why I’m putting this webinar together.

I’m going to show the exact AI workflow behind the content I create for @tdagolf, now at over 28K followers, using footage I’m already recording during normal golf lessons.

The coaching, ideas and footage are still real. AI helps with the time-consuming work around it, including finding strong moments, editing clips, creating hooks, covers and captions, and getting the content scheduled and posted.

Can’t attend live? You’ll still get the full replay and all of the resources included with registration:

Simple drill to help you get off the back foot…literally!

Can you overdo this? Absolutely.

Too much lateral movement can turn into a slide…but if you’re someone who constantly hangs back, this is a great way to start feeling what getting into the lead side actually feels like.

Learn that feeling first. Then add the ball. ⛳️

Possibly the largest chest turn ever recorded on @sportsboxai ?! Need confirmation plz 😅

For Justin, this resulted in a steep and left swing with driver.

No fun and not far.

He had to learn the correct shoulder structure to make a backswing with the proper sequence.

Still some work to do @tda_golf

But this is the foundation of a great golf swing with an appropriate amount of chest turn.

Nothing more important than this ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Creating speed at the right places at the right time.

Plenty of players struggle with this. Fast body neglects the arms making it hard to time the clubface.

Get the club loaded in front of you, then it’s green light exploding through the golf ball 💪

Visit Coach Jacob @tda_golf to help you get that club loaded correctly.

Start launching the ball! 🚀

When the arms start working independently of the body, a whole bunch of problems can occur.

In this case, the golfer was hitting steep pull draws trying too hard to square up the club face.

Instead, I introduced a strong lower body and stable triangle in the upper body.

The result? Consistent low point and shallower swing making the ball launch effortlessly high.

Comment your go-to feel or drill to feel connected 💪

Same carry distance. 3 completely different trajectories with my 8-iron.

Low, medium, and high. All finishing at the same number on @trackmangolf @tda_golf @savagecreekgolf

Being able to control height and trajectory gives you more options on the course, whether you’re hitting into the wind, hiking it over a tree or trying to stop the ball quickly.

The goal isn’t just to hit it farther. It’s to learn how to control the ball. 🎯

Which trajectory would you choose? 👇

If golf had days of the week, bunker shots would definitely be a Monday.

Keeping it simple and sticking to a couple of key points can be the difference between setting up a beach umbrella and getting back to regular scheduled programming. 🏖️

Key Points:

1️⃣ - Intention. Picture the ball on a dollar bill for where to make contact with the sand and where the club should leave the sand.

2️⃣ - Speed. Bunker shots need enough speed for the sand to help carry the ball out of the bunker.

3️⃣ - Bounce. opening the club about 30 to 40° exposes the bounce (bottom of the club) to the sand which prevents the leading edge from digging in. This makes it easier to execute the other two points.

Save this for the next time you’re feeling stuck in the bunker!

Windy day, but the game was strong. Came down to the wire, needing a par on the last hole to stay in contention. Dropped in that 5-footer for par, thought it was enough. Then, the final group's collapse opened the door, moving us inside the cut line. Card secured! Watch or Hear Nathan's full story on YouTube or Spotify.
