This was a very special era of my life. The Deep End Cafe & Gallery - Ypsilanti - 2023-2025 ☕️ It was everything it needed to be and more. It was Godly, it was deep, it was challenging. Growth happened. Joy happened. Miracles happened. Art and intellect and stories and grievances and grief. So much was felt in this space. Thank you to everyone that shared your light, your love, your pain, your creativity. I hope you know I think about all the little moments. All the shared visions and art. It all lives in my heart and is the reason we keep going on the journey to build @tdecafe into a sustainable infrastructure for art and culture in Michigan ❤️‍🔥

A little nostalgia, a lot of music, and a room full of good people. 🎶✨ Thursday night was full of throwback favorites, unexpected collaborations, and the kind of connection that reminds us why making music together is so much fun. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made our 90s Community Jam such a good time! 💛 And a special shoutout to: 🎸 @brionriborn leading us through a night of music and community fun 🎶 Our friends @catchandplaysongs and @detroitmusicscene for helping spread the word. 📌 @tdecafe for being incredible hosts- what a vibe! 🫶🏻 @casamaraclub for keeping the good vibes flowing with their beverage support. This is just the beginning! Our Community Jams are happening quarterly on the third Thursday of the month, and our next one is January 21, 2027. 👀 Save the date—we’ll share more details as we get closer! Here’s to more music, more connection, and more reasons to get together. 🎶

Full circle moment at @tdecafe this past Wednesday. Showcased select pieces from my latest series, “The Cost of Living,” and sat down in front of a live audience for a podcast interview to reflect on over a decade of navigating, creating, and evolving as an artist in Detroit. We talked deeply about my influences, how this city shapes everything I put onto canvas and into sound, and what it really takes to build a sustainable future for local creatives. Capped off the night doing what I love most—bringing the room together with a live DJ set. Huge gratitude to the team at @tdecafe for holding space for real dialogue and art, and to everyone who pulled up, listened, and shared the room with us. My art is still currently on display! Feel free to go check it out. All works are for sale too. Price list coming soon, feel free to message me about any pieces you’re interested in. #thalamus #tdecafe #detroit #detroitartists #southwestdetroit
