Music where the people are—not where the power is. 🚲🔋🔊

Sunday morning, thousands of cyclists took over Chicago’s iconic DuSable Lake Shore Drive for the 25th annual Bike the Drive—and Trulli Audio was proud to be part of the experience alongside our partners at @thedjfirm.

The goal went beyond putting great sound at a stage. We wanted riders to experience music before, during, and after this portion of their ride.

At the stage, The DJ Firm deployed six Bass50s per side with battery-powered Trulli top speakers. From there, additional Bass50 + Top systems were distributed approximately every 100 feet along nearly 500 feet of the cycling route.

The result: a continuous corridor of music and energy for riders—with no power cables running along the course, no generators, and no need for building power.

Everything was battery powered and the distributed systems were wirelessly fed.

And because the system didn’t require traditional power and signal infrastructure, a three-person crew deployed the entire system and a three-person crew broke it down.

For bike rides, marathons, 5Ks, walks, races and other events that stretch across large areas, audio shouldn’t have to stop where access to power stops.

Start line. Course. Finish line. Music throughout.

Huge thank you to The DJ Firm for deploying Trulli Audio and to @bikethelsd and Active Transportation Alliance for creating one of Chicago’s truly special events.

Bring music to where the people are—not where the power is.

Sometimes less really is more.

A fresh color palette.
Pastel florals to liven up the space.
A simple place setting to tie it all together.

We're here to bring your vision to life — not repeat the same event over and over again.

Every detail, intentional.
Every event, entirely yours.

Let's design something only you could dream up.

The wedding industry came together in Chicago and we had a front row seat.

The DJ Firm and TDF Events provided full production and entertainment for WIPA Chicago's The Art of the Aisle — their very first full day of education built around learning, growth, and real community. This is exactly the kind of room we love being in. 🖤

If you had to describe The DJ Firm in one word… what would it be?

We asked our team — and their answers say everything.

Watch to hear the one word each member chose… 👀

Behind every seamless event is a thoughtful, intentional beginning.

Our sales process is never transactional — it’s designed to understand the vision, anticipate the details, and guide each client with clarity and care from the very first conversation.

This is where expectations are aligned, experiences are designed, and trust is built — long before the music ever starts.
Because luxury isn’t just how an event looks or sounds. It’s how it’s planned.

Behind every flawless event is a team that refuses to leave anything to chance.

While our DJs create unforgettable moments on the dance floor, our technical team works behind the scenes—mastering every system, perfecting every setup, and ensuring nothing is overlooked.

The DJ Firm and TDF Events operate across weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations. Our techs train on all equipment configurations, understand venue-specific needs, and build backup plans for every scenario.
We don't just show up and hope it works—we prepare, we train, and we execute with precision.

Because when you trust us with your event, you're partnering with a team that's been preparing for your moment long before you walk through the door.

Excellence isn't an accident. It's a system.
