THIS FRIDAY!

We will be releasing intro the mountains by tdstr! tdstr is someone im super excited to have on the label, with him getting his start within the dariacore scene. creating a classic album within that scene with their 2022 album internet brainrot. Recently he has been branching into more vaporwave releases as of the past couple of years. His album YCH (recently released on business casual) is one of my favorite vaporwave albums of all time. with having a more multisample style that i love so much.

We will be releasing his album "into the mountains" on cassette for the first time this friday!
(With EU distro from hiraeth)

@impact.recs is HERE to help highlight the creativity of the folks in the underground with the release of "Here Comes Trouble Vol. 1" on Bandcamp and SoundCloud. With its release, we're hoping to help both uplift folks who help contribute so much to our scene and its sounds, further build the connections we all have amongst one another to keep supporting ourselves, and to further that support through this compilation's proceeds going to the Gender Justice League!

Brooklyn, our label head, labored over helping make this happen for countless hours, coordinating all of us together to help share the works of our community that sent all its skill our way. Together, we've all created something here that we really feel means more than just another compilation: it's a significant part of an idealistic goal. To continue bringing our community together in a way where folks can feel celebrated for their passions and works. To help all of our music find its people who want to dance and knock heads to it. And to prove how much better it is when we're building this base together and support our own.

Thanks for letting us continue to make an Impact! on your night, now let's make an Impact! on your hearing at home, too.

HCTv.1 is now available on Bandcamp and Soundcloud, and available on other streaming platforms soon.

Everyone please welcome @tdstrmusic to the compilation!

TDSTR is one of those artists who can pull from a million different corners of electronic music and somehow bend it all into something that feels completely their own. Rooted in furry spaces and influenced by plunderphonics, breakcore, vaporwave, hardcore rave, ambient, darkcore, and glitch, their music is chaotic, emotional, weird, and incredibly intentional.

We’ll be featuring their track “percolate inside” on Here Comes Trouble Vol. 1, but that’s not all!

We’re also extremely excited to announce that Impact! Records will be distributing TDSTR’s upcoming EP. “percolate inside” is the first single from the project, and we genuinely cannot wait to help bring the rest of it into the world.

TDSTR represents so much of what we love about this community, please go show them some love and follow their page, and keep an eye out for everything we’ve got coming next. ❤️🤍🖤💜💚

Like me, do you often wish you could dance and fall over laughing in the club at the same time? Do you wish for mashups, dizzying hard dance, bits, and cluttered chaotic mayhem instead of the usual club formalities? Do you wanna listen to sets that make you say “oh fuck off” and dance anyway? Welcome... to Sounds of Clowns. Instead of simply just headknockers and floorstompers, we’re bringing a sense of humor to the whole bloody affair this go as we bring your social media feed of joke edits and URLfest mixes to IRL.
