Why does the Free Palestine Party exist if we don’t want your vote? We will be present at political debates, hold our future politicians accountable to their promises of sanctions and ensure that Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the current government’s complicity are a central part of the conversation this election. The media won’t ask about Rakon or Rocket Lab but we will and from a candidate’s seat on the stage it wouldn’t be politically correct to have security throw us out. Don’t vote for us but for a party with enough spine to take action for human rights and the people of Palestine by placing sanctions on Israel. No sanction - no vote! 🇵🇸

Brian Tamaki threatened to burn mosques and temples. That he would "get his pig hunting gun and go around and visit them". For years, he has terrorised migrant communities with his hate. Today, he was summoned to court on three charges of inciting racial disharmony. Aotearoa will not tolerate this hate toward migrants, Sikhs, Hindus or Muslims. It's time Brian Tamaki was held to account, and time his so-called church lost its charitable status. He's been ordered to appear in court on 19 October.

Composed by myself, in collaboration with uncle Herewini Nopera and @te_otane Two years ago, I wrote this mōteatea in acknowledgement of the genocides in Palestine, dating back to the Nakba. I initially had this posted in 2024 to share the hononga between tāngata whenua and tāngata of Paratinia, and has since been deleted. This was a tohu to quietly return to what was and why I am relentless in pursuit of collective liberation. The violence and brutality that NZSAS soldiers learn while fighting US imperial wars of aggression abroad are turned against the indigenous population at home through private security contracts. Here is footage from 2021 of ex military security subcontracted by Warden Consulting, employees of Waiheke Island Marina (formerly known as Kennedy Point Boatharbour Limited), to 'manage' activists at Pūtiki Bay. The Greens claim to be anti-war and decolonial while running a former NZSAS candidate.
