THU 22 OCT - 5-7PM

Join us on Thursday 22 October from 5pm as we open our doors after hours for the first in our new season of Late Nights at Te Uru.

Generously supported by Aera Foundation, our Late Nights invite our community to come together, slow down, enjoy the gallery, and experience our exhibitions differently, with music, conversation, hospitality, and a little evening magic.

For our first Late Night, we’re delighted to welcome Robyn Sutherland, whose beautiful live harp music will drift through the gallery spaces as you explore the exhibitions.

Bring a friend, meet someone here, or simply come and enjoy a relaxed evening at Te Uru. Everyone is welcome.

We can’t wait to share our first Late Night with you.

Doors open 5-7pm.

As befits the sentiment of the moment, Good Cards serenades @jackbhadley Artist, designer, educator, jeweller and Managing Director of JBH MFG Ltd., among other things. Jack’s whimsical and playful works belie thoughtful research and always a juxtaposing or mashing up of seemingly incongruous ideas to create a new piece that could only be made by Jack.

If you’ve not managed to get to Te Uru yet to see his glorious “ASSEMBLIES” you have one more week to do so, the show’s last day is 22nd February.

Meantime we love hearing about the occasions for which people have chosen to use Jack’s “Good Card” as their card of choice. We think it’s perfect for spicing up someone’s day, sharing a thought whose tone is more courageous or cheeky, than saccharine.

Good Cards are available for purchase online or at Te Uru’s gift shop.

Finally getting a look at a copy of this in the flesh chez @te_uru_shop . (Post office taking their sweet time over the holidays.)
A HUGE thank you to @uberbeige for the opportunity to work on this. Such ambition and so exciting to see a new Arts publication out in 2025.
Congratulations to all involved on this incredible first issue (even more so given the logistics and such a tight deadline).
Really proud of this work and such a great way to end the year. @currentartmagazine
