i think i may have found one of the greenest matchas i’ve ever tried!!

this is the tsujiki matcha (@tsujiki_uji.shirakawa) from tea huset, a blend of samidori and gokou that was gifted to me. and honestly, the first thing i thought when i opened it was: wow.

the color is such a bright, vibrant green. it instantly reminded me of some japanese matchas i really love, like marukyu koyamaen. i wasn’t expecting it to be this green, and i got so excited to try it.

and somehow… i made the creamiest matcha i’ve ever made at home 😭 no scale, just pure luck haha. but it turned out so smooth, rich and flavorful. i think this might genuinely be my favorite homemade matcha so far.

Summer in St. Moritz, lately.

Long walks in the sunshine. Lunch by the lake. Fresh flowers for the house. A cup of tea at home as the evening cools down.
