Busy evening! Came home to my #LeagueOfGarminScavengerHunt prize from @teacherintraining75 and @bela.runs, taught Rhys how to change the headlights on my car (last time we did this together he wasn’t actually born yet), and then we went for an easy zone 2 run!
.
Really loved that the slightly cooler weather had our neighborhood out in full force tonight, we saw so many neighbors out walking and riding. Ran past a mom wrangling her own toddler and she yelled out “you go mama” when she saw me - love the solidarity of toddler moms in the trenches together!
.
Now time for an early bedtime because someone refused to nap with his grandma today 🙄😮‍💨

Final #leagueofgarminscavengerhunt square - my choice! Working on a huge medical campus (hospital and university) that’s always under construction means even the smallest errand can turn into a mile long walk or more! Every time I pass this “be good do good” post-it-note art in someone’s window, it makes me happy!

#leagueofgarminscavengerhunt day 8 - my (rarely used, cheap from Aldi) treadmill! The feels like temp was 111°F when I got home, so I DEFINITELY was not running outside. Between my asthma, and a few different meds I’m on, intense heat is not my friend.
.
I did have to stop the treadmill several times due to tiny human interference, so I wasn’t able to get the pace/distance to calibrate my watch correctly. But the goal for today’s run was time/HR based, so it doesn’t matter much to me if the pace and distance aren’t perfect 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pic seven for the #leagueofgarminscavengerhunt - something funny! My toddler required me to keep Bingo in my pocket while I lifted weights tonight 😂 He also wanted me to pause mid-workout for a few minutes of snuggles, and who can say no to that!?

Some landmarks are unfrogettable. This one always puts a smile on my face. Respect.

A nice view for square 6 of the #leagueofgarminscavengerhunt ! The heat and humidity pushed me to a night run, and I live in a subdivision with minimal light pollution so we get great views of the night sky! Too cloudy to see many stars or the moon tonight, but still a pretty dusky sky!

Does a cool car still count if I had to ride all the way to France to find it? 😂🚴‍♂️🇫🇷
Indoor ride today, but the scavenger hunt continues. Spotted this yellow classic cruising through the Camargue Plains. 🚕💨
No idea if virtual sightings are allowed…but I'm claiming it until somebody tells me otherwise. 😂
Cool Car or Truck ✅

Fun run this morning! Got to run around our favorite park, saw a train before we started, veered off our usual trail and paused mid run to play on a new to us playground, saw lots of bird, flowers and insects, and saw a cool car on the way to the park for the #leagueofgarminscavengerhunt!
