Ocean stack, flatlay edition 🌊🐳🪼
Thank you @alucyreads for the tag! I do miss living by the beach but it was a lot of fun picking out some of my favourite blue books, I’ve got quite a few on my shelves.

Have you read any of these? There’s some great reads here, but my favourite books have to be Crushing (that cover! 😍), and Sorrow and Bliss. I still need to read Antarctica!

I’ve taken loads of beach photos over the years, so I included some of those too. I also found a photo I took years ago when I first got my wave tattoo for my birthday in Edinburgh (I was living on my own at the time, and trying to figure out the best way to take a photo of the back of my arm - it’s harder than you’d think! 😂)

I’ve tagged a couple of people, no pressure and apologies if you’ve already done this (I’ve been meaning to do this tag for ages!), but if you see this and want to join in, consider yourself tagged 🐙

Even though it’s summer, teachers are coming together in solidarity to make sure public education is funded going into the new school year. Our students cannot afford any more cuts to their eduction 🍎❤️📚 If you want to share your selfies and support send them to @ranknfileeducators #ontedunited #classsizesmatter #safeschools #solidaritysummer

Still a kid at heart…

Had the amazing opportunity to tour the @retrokidofficial headquarters and chat with @teachingintoronto and I gotta say it totally brought me back to the 90s!

What is your core 90s memory? VHS tapes, Degrassi, or the wood paneling? For me all three hit home… Literally because I had all those things were a big part of my childhood

Start a new book with us 🌸🍒💙

Phoebe Berman’s Gonna Lose It was such an anticipated read for both of us and we had the best time binging it in one afternoon with the coziest setting, drinks and a sweet treat ☕️🥧🍓

come with me to celebrate @indigospiritdonmills’s grand opening at @cfshopsdonmills 📖✨🥹

as if i needed another reason to spend all my free time in a bookstore … but here we are. the space is beautiful, the shelves are overflowing with incredible reads, and there are so many bookish treasures tucked into every corner.

naturally, i couldn’t leave empty-handed. i finally picked up phoebe berman’s gonna lose it and metal slinger (i used a gift card so this doesn’t break my book buying ban!), along with a summer-inspired colouring book for slower days ahead.

add in complimentary sweet treats from @eatalytoronto, a cute tote and gift card with our purchase, it was the perfect way to spend our sunday. safe to say you’ll be finding me here often! ☀️🤍📚

Meet our birbs! 🐦💕

Ever since I started sharing a bit about @finchcare on here, it always makes me so happy to hear that someone has already been using the app OR has even discovered the app through my posts and are trying it out!

Finch can be a personal experience but there’s also something to say about self-care with friends. You can link up with your friends, set goals together, encourage each other, and send support throughout the day.

BRB, going to go remind my finch friends to take a few deep breaths 🍃
