Meet this matcha: Tea For Us - Shinka 🍵

I really enjoyed this one 🤭

Aroma: Buttery grass
Flavor: Creamy, smooth & buttery
Finish: Roasted chestnut
Bitterness: Low
Astringency: Slight
Color: A really nice green

It has this soft, creamy richness, and that’s where I really get the butter croissant note 🥐🤤 The roasted chestnut comes through most at the very end of the sip and lingers on your tongue 🌰

I don’t personally pick up much of the jasmine, but I’ve also never had jasmine on its own, so I don’t really know that flavor well enough to confidently pick it out 🫪 The butter croissant and roasted chestnut notes, though, make so much sense with this one 🤤🥐🌰

Yame is definitely one of my favorite matcha regions, and this one absolutely lives up to the name 🤭

Have you tried @teafor.us Shinka yet? 🍵

what if i told you that you could whisk jasmine tea like it’s a matcha? 🍵🫖

@teafor.us sent me their premium jasmine tea powder, which looks just like a matcha powder is crafted from taiwan from fresh, hand-picked jasmine blossoms!

you can whisk it just like matcha, but it’s a bit stronger so make sure to add less grams than you would normally use for a matcha!

sift 2g jasmine powder and add 50ml warm water below 70°c / 160°f, then whisk until smooth and frothy. add 150-180ml milk of choice, then enjoy!

Rissy’s 2G Golden Ratio 🍵💌
This is recommended for a pick me up drink and/or a very umami powder ☀️

• 2 grams matcha powder
• hot water [75C/167F] 7 grams paste method + 18 grams for latte
• 3 grams agave
• 75 grams milk

My method to mix the agave is adding milk then swirling it. I like it instead of diluting with water, as that could make it more watered down.
