Dear diving,

I’m leaving this sport with nothing but gratitude. The last four years of being a collegiate athlete have been fulfilling, challenging, and so rewarding. I never knew pursuing diving at this level was even possible for me, but I know now that I was more than capable of taking on this journey. Diving taught me how to be confident in myself on my own terms. Not every day was perfect, but I learned how to pick myself back up after the failures. Diving taught me that failure is not only a good thing, but essential for growth. The resilience I’ve gained from this sport will carry over into every aspect of my life going forward. I’m leaving this sport with a heart full of memories, lessons learned, and pure joy. I have no regrets.

Thank you to my family for believing in me. Thank you to my coaches who have pushed me in ways I never thought possible. Also, thank you to my teammates for being the best support system. You guys are the best team I could’ve asked for, and I will miss you dearly.

Grateful to be a Lumberjack, a Yote, and now it’s time to just be me. Thank you, diving🫶🏻

Year 3.

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with how this season ended. However, I am so grateful for the things that came out of this season. My first two collegiate wins, PR’s on both boards, and memories I’ll hold onto forever. This is just another step in the process. This team is the reason I continue doing the sport I love. There’s nothing like this family. This season may be over, but I’ll be back. 🐺❤️ #juniorszn #goyotes
