I think we did more baking in August than we’ve done in awhile 🧑🏻‍🍳 Cookies and donuts and coffee cake, oh my! 🍪

We also had great meals out in Denver, Fort Collins, and Cheyenne. You know it’s been a great month when you get to have peach pizza twice! 🍑🍕

Note: I edited the first photo using AI because the 2 moms blinked and I wasn’t going to do them dirty. Otherwise, this is 💯 my amateur photos and videos 😝

THIS WEEKEND, FIVE POINTS IS THE STAGE.

Two days. Multiple venues. One historic neighborhood filled with live jazz, R&B, DJs, dancing, food, drinks, and the unmistakable energy of Five Points.

Come for one performance or make a night of it and move through the Points.

Move to the Rhythm of Tea 💃🏻
The girls and I had such a blast at @tealeesteahouse yesterday for afternoon tea. We were served bottomless teas along with delicious finger foods and THE BEST quiche we’ve ever had. We had a wonderful time getting to know the staff and tried so many of the teas they offer.

This Afro-centric space located in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood offers soothing teas, tea infused cocktails, soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastries as well as an independent bookstore focused on African American literature. You can pop in to attend one of their community events, including live jazz and art classes in their lower level library space, or to take a break from the outside world and enjoy a nice cup of tea and pastries…or their quiche…seriously, you NEED to try it 😜

My top 3 teas from the afternoon
🫖 Vanilla Rooibos
🫖 Floral Earl Grey
🫖 Darjeeling Seeyok Estate
