🌟 IMPORTANT OF SPOT BOWLING 🌟

✨It shifts a bowler's focus from a distant end-goal to a close, manageable target, which dramatically improves precision, consistency, and control.

Instead of staring at the distant pins (60 feet away), you aim at the lane arrows or dots located roughly 12 to 16 feet past the foul line.
A closer target is much easier to line up with your feet, shoulders, and release angle. ✨

Indian cricket has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past few decades. With the efforts of the BCCI, state cricket associations, academies, sponsors and the wider cricketing community, the sport has become increasingly professional.

Today, greater emphasis is placed on physical fitness, mental conditioning, sports science, injury prevention and rehabilitation to meet the demands of international cricket.

In this conversation, we speak with Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, one of India’s finest leg-spinners, who made his international debut in 1983 and last represented India in 1986, before going on to become a commentator and coach.

Drawing on his experiences as both a player and a coach, LS shares his observations on bowling mechanics, the challenges of coaching young spinners and the importance of injury prevention.

This conversation offers a perspective shaped by a different era of cricket, while exploring how the game and our understanding of player development continue to evolve.
