It will be six years in August, in the fitness industry as a personal trainer with Cerebral Palsy. It has been one heck of a ride, and I am thankful for those who turned me away and thought I was crazy and wouldn't stand a chance; you lit a 🔥 inside me to push past it and know that there would be those who saw what I had to offer.

I'm back and looking forward to new opportunities and doors that will open with this specialty certification. Ready to make 🌊 here in MN.

For those who believed in me since day one - thank you! It's go time, BABY! Let's do this! #cerebralpalsywarrior #cerebralpalsywontstopme #personaltrainer #letsgo🚀🚀🚀💯 #flexfriday💪 #2022letsdothis‼️ #couragecreatesconnection #testthewaters #testyourwhy

8.16.2016. The day I took my PT exam. I remember being so nervous I took a cab (yes, a cab) to the testing site. I remember hitting submit, and what felt like 20 mins later a flash on the screen "PASSED!" Ahhh. I.did.it. BUT to honest the excitement faded as fear entered! I thought what now? I had no clue who would hire this girl with the "weird walk" & knew it was going to take strength. Countless interviews, zero callbacks, a gazillion thanks but no thanks. You name it. I heard it & even remember being laughed at as one place thought I applied for the wrong position🙄

After that I almost gave up. But giving up was not the little girl who fought to be in this 🌏. Flash forward to the one bada$$ individual who gave me a chance 4 years ago @dj_pmicd @team_elevate !! I'll never forget it. He not only is a beast in the fitness industry, but is a hell of DJ!

Then, enters the bada$$ boss babe @christaylor519 @dcfitchick. Believe it or not we actually went to the same college, but didn't really know each other & I thought there's no way she'd be friends with me bc sorority life & heels no thanks🤣 & didn't connect until after college in DC! Best damn Facebook message I ever sent. & boy was I wrong about her. She taught me all my tricks & helped me become the strong, confident trainer I am today. We have been through it ALL. My trainer to lifelong friends! Christa, these photos! The strength! Remember, when you said if i walk down the isle you'll trip me & make me do a burpee omg. & ironically my dress didn't fit TWICE 🤔🤩 laugh folks it's ok, it's funny & TRUE. She bought me that beer for making the right decision 😉 IG Live 🚗conversation coming soon!

Flash forward to today? A hard, but right decision was made. A new journey begins as I've decided to exit Sporth & Health & spread my wings! I will miss you all! @khmer.strength you give battle ropes a new meaning! @shawnhendon I will miss hearing you yell TAY TAY as soon as you see me enter the building!! 😭To my clients @aguayta @vm0de & Brian lets light up the roof this week🔥🔥👏👏!! It's not the end it's the beginning #alignment #cerebralpalsystrong #newbeginnings #personaltrainer #growth #worth 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
