Most golfers 3-putt because they guess the break. Here’s how to feel it with Aimpoint:

1) It’s all about side tilt.

Putts break because the ground is tilted sideways. More tilt = more curve.

Most greens are small:
• 0–3% slope = most putts you’ll see
• 7% = very rare (steep)

If you learn to feel tilt, you’re already ahead of most golfers.

2) Use your feet, not just your eyes.

Your eyes can lie to you.

Shadows, slopes, and grain can make things look flat or tilted when they aren’t.

So you:
Stand on the line
Feel the pressure shift in your feet
Decide how much tilt you feel

Feet > eyes for green reading.

3) Short Putts: keep It simple.

For 3–6ft putts:
• Feel the slope in the middle of the putt
• Pick the stronger reading (don’t underestimate)

Finger guide:
• 1% = pinky
• 2% = two fingers
• 3% = three fingers

Short putts are missed more from bad reads than bad strokes.

4) Longer Putts: read the middle + biggest slope

For putts over 6ft:
Check slope around 1/3 and 2/3 to the hole.
Use the biggest slope you feel.
Aim off the center of the hole based on that tilt.

Why? The middle of the putt has the biggest influence on the break.

5) Assess & don’t re-think

Once you pick your aimpoint:

❌ Don’t change it last second
❌ Don’t “re-think” the break

Instead:
Trust the number.
Pick your start line.
Roll the balls (and PRAY! 😅)

Thank you @team_golflab for an amazing Aimpoint session. It was an honour to learn from the best 👏🏻

Battle Golf (Star Wars Golf) Fun Golf Challenge | Mr Variety

Battle golf is a fun game where teams have the opportunity to take clubs out of the oppositions bag when they win a hole. They get to select a club (in this case 2 clubs) out of the oppositions bag and they are NOT allowed to use that club unless they win a hole and select it back, but they also have the option of choosing a club from the opposition's bag instead of taking their club back.

We are playing 6 holes match play and for each win , one team can select 2 clubs from the oppositions bag.

Uno dei fondamentali nel mio Golf Coaching è come il giocatore riesce a controllare la faccia del bastone durante il movimento. Repost @clublinkgolf #FridayFix || If you struggle on the greens it could simply be the setup of your putter. Going through a putter optimization allows us to adjust your putter so that you are able to aim it correctly and create a more consistent roll off the face so you can consistently roll the ball to maintain your line and speed control.
Stop in @thegolflab and get your putter optimized today.
